I agree the focus gets misplaced, Thai BLs are definitely aiming for a bigger scope in BLs, but the truth is,…
I agree, the hook up should have been flashbacks to a couple weeks ago. Then show him thinking about Bison, only to find out he's the hitman he's assigned to get information on. Which is then when the first episode ends. They have killed any suspension at all and jumped into the story too fast eager to get into the relationship over the nice plot they had going.

The only thing in episode 1 that was on track was Fadel holding the knife menacingly at Style. Everything else didn't feel appropriate for characters who are killing ppl. I agree the writing is careless. I feel this kind of plot is meant to be slow paced, it's moving to fast for right now.
people be criticising dunk and whatnot meanwhile Iβm just here to have a good time itβs really not that deep
Ig ppl don't see these guys as real actors. If tom holland or some other actor acted like shit, it would matter to alot of ppl because it's his job and profession. You can't put a guy in an office chair who does nothing for the company and pay him 6 figures a year. He'd be fired. Just as an example. But this is all bc ppl got brainwashed and they're standard has been lowered over the years. It's his job to give us high quality acting an being a Thai actor shouldn't change any standards. Dunk has this role bc he's dunk and I'm sure everyone in the Thai industry knows they are better actors out there to invest on, just watch a non-bl for a change and you will see how ur brain handles 10/10 acting changing to 1/10. It's awful to watch. Anyway, I hope he improves.

Yup. I like to say following a trend. Shoving sex scenes wherever cause that's what they think works. They don't realise that high-performing BL's are the ones with BL as the subplot and a major conflict as the main. Here feels more as BL is the main and the hit men plot is the subplot. They got it all backward. And that water downs everything no matter how good the plot is. Characters don't act accordingly even in a dangerous situation because it's too focused on getting to the next kiss scene. GMMTV does well in stories that are not their own. Anything original is always very mid and repetitive. Anyway, I thought I was going to get hate for that comment and I'm glad ppl can agree with me.
hm. In my opinion this was not bad just felt bland. That first episode felt like it needed more than was given. They just gloss over the fact they are hitmen. If that's the plot of the show I'd expect it to be placed as more of a big deal. This show wasn't eye catching. I wasn't hooked and watched it in pieces before I got bored again. Dunk's acting is still terrible, dare I say worse, considering I watched summer night last. I love the colors and burger joint though. And I'm glad they added a little diversity to their roles and didn't recycle old personalities. I'm not excited about this one, it's more of a yeah, it's airing, and idrc. I'm probably going to miss 2 episodes and not even realize. If it was another couple it wouldn't have so many loving on it. But that's my review for episode 1. Some shows need 2 episodes to really pick up. For right now, TLDR it's overrated.
