If I were in Nobu's shoes, I think I'd be more scared of living with a psychopath instead of worrying about the cheating. She has zero empathy, she's terrifying!
I almost dropped it after watching the first episode but now I'm absolutely loving it - I'm on ep 14. I was already a fan of Jung So Min but now Kim Ji Suk has one more fan as well, he's so good in this. I almost didn't recognise Jung Gun Joo, he's quite different from Extraordinary You, super cute in both though. Kim Won Hae is hilarious as always. I'm so glad I didn't give up of this drama, it brings all the right feels, it's very warm and funny.
One of the first dramas I watched and I'm so glad I did it at that time. This is precious, but I'm not sure that if by then I had watched the amount of dramas I've watched by now, I would have been able to enjoy it for the gem it is, because, well, it is a 2006 drama and it shows. If you forget about aesthetics, this is so great, don't miss out on it, if you feel like watching something with a lot of heart and brains (and great humour). It's a classic, very memorable. All these years later and I can still recall the intro. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vHcD8wAwJI
Gorgeous. A very versatile actor, one of my favourites. Watched him in Spellbound, Very Ordinary Couple, Because This Is My First Life, The Beauty Inside, Oh My Ladylord and his cameo in WWWSK. If you want a break from dreamy rom coms and feel like watching something more down to earth and relatable, give Very Ordinary Couple a try.
I admit I didn't care much for the first episode, but I'm now 6 eps in and it's getting better and better. Very funny! Ep 5 is especially hilarious - the gym scene lmao, I must have replayed that over a dozen times... Kim Ji Suk will be gifed and memed a lot for this one xD
The ML is so capable, strong, with hero vibes and a dominant personality that the FL could so easily be the damsel in distress. But, no! She's smart and strong and resourceful, she doesn't fall into the lies that could lead to overused and frustratingly annoying misunderstandings tropes, she doesn't wait to be saved, in fact, she even saves the hero! It makes it believable that he's been in love with her for 5 years.
Strong Male Lead AND Strong Female Lead makes for a very exciting viewing experience.
YAY PANDA!!! This is genius scriptwriting, not one wasted moment, unpredictable, satisfying, hilarious... and it's full of heart. Flawless. I think anyone would love this, regardless of genre/tag/country preferences, it's universally perfect.
I started watching it because of @Kristal's review, so if you're indecisive about watching it, please go read it.
