I came here after watching "Don't Lie, Rahee", just to say I really like her speaking voice - it was the first thing I noticed. It's so deep, melodious and powerful. I suck at describing it ^^ but it's a very agreable voice.

I loved this so much, I've watched it three times already and every time I notice something new. The manga is from 1988 and Kyoko Okazaki's work has been compared to Godard's surrealism, so I suppose it's not the romcoms we're used to. ♥

I haven't read the novel, but I listened to the blcd while reading the spanish translation. The timeline in the blcd is a bit different (Koyama confesses a lot earlier, and Hira and Kioyi spend some time together when Kioyi visits his house frequently to rehearse, for example) It goes more or less like this: - Two months after starting college (prob. June) Koyama realizes Hira likes boys (it would correspond to the scene when they're together at Hira's house). - During Summer Break he sees Kiyoi for the first time after high school graduation , on Koyama's birthday (So it would actually be only about 5 months since they've last met). - In October Hira went to see Kiyoi's play wearing the hat and glasses (xD) and there's the "do you like him or me?" scene after the party - One month later (November), Kiyoi calls Hira and says he did it by mistake - after that Kiyoi spends a lot of time (almost every day) at Hira's house and that's when everything unravels - Kiyoi asks Hira if he would date him only to hear that he wouldn't because Kioyi is his King - days later the finger scene (toe actually, in the blcd ^^) and something else happens here they didn't include in the drama, I don't want to spoil too much - Kioyi's explosive confession happens maybe around December "did it ever occur to you that I might be in love with you?!" "impossible" - then they spend two weeks without talking to each other, Hira can't stay away - Kiyoi breaks down in the magnificent and emotionally charged "I'm not a king" scene - Hira holds Kiyoi in his arms and they go home right away to finally surrender to their feelings - the next morning they wake up together and are the happiest they could ever be. The end.

I'm watching Bad Buddy and it gets better every episode, it's also an exciting drama, though very different from UK. I prefer UK's raw vibe, but BB is really worth watching as well, for me. Some scenes I just had to rewatch - a lot! xD
