Have you tried Taxi Driver? I felt pretty darn satisfied with the payback — particularly in season 1.
Fiery Priest and Lawless Lawyer also served up good justice. I hate watching evil people doing horrible stuff and not getting what they deserve in the end, so these gave me warm fuzzies. 😄
I enjoyed the show — was an entertaining watch— BUT, I was really taken aback by all the profanity and sexual stuff. The subtitles added curse words that weren’t even actually said!
I stopped watching American shows because of all the excessive cussing and gratuitous sex scenes. It was sooo refreshing to find K & C-dramas that tell awesome stories without all that. So I’m disappointed to see it creeping into the new K-dramas made for Netflix. Hoping it doesn’t become a trend. 😞
I'm only few minutes in and the acting is good so far.I have one thing to say; I would be in jail, if anyone physically…
Same. We all would’ve had to die together if they’d tried any of that with me, LOL. Fingers, eyes, and other things would’ve gone missing before that curling iron could touch me. I think bullies might get a sense for who they can push limits with.
i actually liked the husband of the bully, but in the end when it was shown he killed Jeon Jae Joon, it was so…
I’m thinking a lot of it had to do with keeping Jeon Jae Joon away from his daughter. Nothing would’ve stopped him from coming for her and trying to take her except death.
Looks like many ppl didnt like the ending and few didnt like kento's acting, lol, idrk i felt his acting was on…
I LOVED the ending—it’s actually what put this show in my top tier. Looking at the comments, though, it seems like some people may not have been paying attention or maybe didn’t want to think too deeply. A shame, cuz it was a masterpiece to me. 😄
I believe they stay in a coma until they lose their game in the borderlands and actually die/pass on.
Yes, they become the citizens who actually run the games (jacks, queens, kings). Since people die every second, I don’t think they have to wait long for new players. And I’ve read that the Joker is the grim reaper/ game master over the Borderlands, so he most likely is the one who assigns the positions to the citizens.
Agreed completely! I did not enjoy the Beach Arc much at all and found myself skimming for most of it. This season…
I wasn’t big on the Beach part either, but once I realized it was supposed to be a twisted version of the Mad Hatter’s tea party (with Aguni as the March Hare), I had more appreciation for it. And when it turned into one of the games, it went to another level.
So everything happened in exactly a single frigging minute? In some sort of a world between life and death? And…
I loved the concept of the Borderlands being a real place that souls go to before passing on where they can find meaning to life and fight for a second chance. Curious what you would have liked better for the ending? I would’ve preferred them remembering each other, but I like to think they reconnect later on in the “real” world.
okay i get everything but can someone tell me what was mira was saying or was she just manipulating them like…
Appeared to be hypnosis to me. She started with obvious lies so that Arisu would trust her last story about it being survivor’s guilt from a car accident. Once she got into his head, she manipulated him into remembering whatever she said. Usagi tried to break the hypnosis by harming herself. It was psychological warfare—as expected by the Queen of Hearts.
THIS SEASON ATEEEE PEOPLE ARE HATING BECAUSE THEY DONT REALISE THE TRUE MEANING OF THIS WHOLE ENTIRE STORY
I’m seeing a lot of people who weren’t really paying attention to the meaning of the story and just wanted mindless death games to keep adrenaline pumping with no purpose. They didn’t get the point of the story AT ALL and then complain about “it was all a dream” and “plot armor.” It hurts my head to read some of the comments.
This season is so much deeper than the last. The plot is just a decoy; behind it is a deep reflection on life,…
So true. I’m still thinking about its message of empowerment and embracing life. So many scenes that have a deeper meaning once you reach the end of the story and understand what the games were really about. It puts everything that happened throughout their struggle in a different perspective and hits you in the feels.
mindblown, shook to the core, I absolutely loved it and what it represented, incredible production, acting, fight…
Same. Just finished and am feeling emotionally wrecked. Can’t stop thinking about it. The ending was perfect and gave such depth to the whole story. Loved it.
