Yes probably, it’s not much about the school setting. More about violence, depression, friendship and loneliness imo. It’s not a mature drama, because the characters don’t react like grown ups about their feelings but it feels really raw and thought out. And if he liked all of us are dead he shouldn’t mind that aspect. They portray the emotions really well
If it was just trying to get famous through BL industry he would not have had a continuous and secret love affair…
that’s why I said his storyline and motivations make a lot more sense after episode 3, I really didn’t find his actions plausible without that explanation
that 1st episode was so freaking cuteeee. Like I have to be in the mood for it but if I am it's really fun to watch. I am actually positively surprised by their dynamic, it doesn't feel as unbalanced as I feard at all. Actually looking forward to how they progress it.
It's coming together in ep3. Him trying to get out of the shipping, only using it to move on. being anxious about the kissing/bl scenes. wanting to get on TV as a 'real' actor. I was really starting to question after ep 2 if it's internal homophobia because he is an actor and it shouldn't be this much of a struggle, it was starting to feel like the good old 'homophobic trying to get famous through the bl industry and immediately jumping ship as soon as possible' but this really didn't work with the 'workshopping' and how comfortable he seemed there. with the homophobic parents in the picture it makes more sense imo
This is stressing me out so much. I can just feel how unstable and anxious Pan is (very good job by Seng) and just makes watching this soo uncomfortable for me. It like a train crash I actually don't want to watch.
actually loved that first episode after translating these texts. (without it its unbelievable confusing what's…
tho I have to say the concept of this show is a little ironic. It criticizes the speculation about the relationship/shipping/treatment of the actors, but at the same time fuels the fire with the 'there is something really going on' and with how real they make it look (the actors seriously deserve praise). In the end even if its a self conscious bl it's still one.
also I love the anxiety parts, so painful to watch but you can seriously feel and see it. Well done
