Title Lover Merman Spoiler
I just finished this series, i didnt see any incest. Which couple are you referring to?
I think they're referring to the third couple who happen to be the brothers (although one is adopted) of Phu. Technically they're not blood related, but I can understand how people may be a bit weirded out by it to a certain extent.

Title Dare You to Death Spoiler
Although I'm satisfied that I called out Dr. Puth from his very first appearance, the excitement fell flat during…
I feel like the "twist" will most likely come with however Jay is involved in all of this since he was the last to receive a "Truth or Dare" letter (even after his brother and Kamin). Out of everyone in the series thus far, Jay is the character we know the least about despite him being the brother of one of the main characters.

Title Dare You to Death Spoiler
Although now I know that I was right, I still have questions that need to be answered in the final episode.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... Now that I know that Fai and Dr. Phut are a couple (which is a bit confusing to me since she and Champ were seemingly a couple prior to her "murder"), I have to wonder why is it that Jay was the last to receive a "Truth or Dare" letter (because even Jade and Kamin received a letter before Jay). I understand Fai's beef with the other "Avengers," but it feels deliberate that Jay received the final letter as if he may have "wronged" Fai in the worst way despite the fact that the viewers have no idea exactly what Jay may have done to Fai. The only thing that I can assume based on the information (or lack thereof) given about Jay is that maybe his hookup with Fai wasn't consensual; but given the fact that Phut had already killed Fai's r*pist, I feel as though Jay would've already been dead if that were the case, so whatever Jay may have done to Fai would have to be something of incredible magnitude to warrant killing everyone else (except Champ and Cherreen since they apparently survived the car crash) to leave him as the last one standing as a scare tactic of sorts. It isn't lost on me that despite being the brother of one of the main characters of the series, very little information has been given about Jay, the type of person his is, and how/why he even became friends with "The Avengers" to begin with. Throughout the series, Jay has been anything but forthcoming with information that may have been able to help solve the case, and I can't help but to feel that it's for a reason.

*SIDE NOTE*

I know that this is a "BL series," but is it bad that I'm actually more invested in the murder mystery than I am in the BL aspect of the series? I'm a BL fan through and through, but in regard to this particular series, I'm more intrigued by the "Law & Order: SVU" of it all if you will, and trying to figure out who the villain (in in this case, villains) may be week after week.

Title Dare You to Death Spoiler
I just want to start off by saying... I CALLED IT!!!!!!!!!!
The killer is definitely at least one of the forensic physicians (specifically Phut). The way Phut reacted to Kamin asking to transfer Fai's body in order to have a visual timeline for the murders was a bit alarming (almost as if he was caught off guard). Plus, in the last episode (episode 7), a person dressed in all black who I assume was the killer was walking in the vicinity of Jay's hospital room while wearing glasses, and PHUT wears glasses. After a rewatch, I noticed that there were two people standing at the sight of the car crash that seemingly killed Champ and Cherreen (one of which was a female wearing heels), so I'm fairly certain that the main killer is at least one of the forensic physicians (specifically Phut). Because Fai was the only "victim" that didn't have ketamine in her system (according to Phut), I feel like Phut is connected to Fai in some capacity, and may be helping her get revenge on "The Avengers" that wronged her (Tar r*ped her and most likely got her pregnant, Champ cheated on her, Cherreen slept with Champ AND disclosed her pregnancy after being asked not to, Time secretly recorded her and sold the videos, and Tonkla sold the video of Fai to Time for money), and that Fai is actually alive. I feel like she enlisted the help of Phut (or the other forensic physician) to orchestrate the murders of "The Avengers," and the reason she and Phut allowed Jay to be the last one standing is either because he's the only "Avenger" she genuinely cares about, or he's the worst one of all. Unlike the other "Avengers," not too much of Jay's tea has been spilled outside of him sleeping with Fai, and I feel as though that's for a reason.

*SIDE NOTE*

The actor who played Lee Seon Jae literally NEVER plays a good character in any series I've seen him in. From "My School President" where he was the homophobic teacher to "Caged Again" where he was an animal trafficker to this series where he's a drug dealer. I just want to see him in one series where his character ISN'T a terrible person.

Title Dare You to Death Spoiler
I don't know why, but I have a nagging suspicion that the killer is the cringy forensic physician that continues to flirt with Kamin KNOWING that he's not interested (I believe his name is Thaenkhun). If it weren't for the fact that Jay was in a hospital bed hooked up to IVs coupled with the fact that a masked man wearing glasses (who I suspect to be the killer) was lurking in the vicinity of Jay's hospital room, it would be easy to assume that Jay was the killer since he's the only member of "The Avengers" who hasn't received a Truth or Dare letter that we know of. Also, it's rather strange that both Kamin AND Jade received a Truth or Dare letter despite the fact that neither of them are a part of "The Avengers." It could be possible that Thaenkhun was the person that Tonkla hit with his car, but then again, I do recall the other forensic physician wearing glasses; so it may actually be him. I just have a feeling that it's either one or both of them for whatever reason. While I understand that Kamin and Jade are working the case, threatening them with a letter goes outside of the killer's M.O. since the letter sent to Kamin and Jade felt a lot less personal than the letters sent to "The Avengers." While I'm aware that Champ also wears glasses, I've watched enough BLs and Law & Order: SVU to know that nine times out of ten, the most obvious suspect isn't the culprit. Plus, Champ also received a letter from whomever the killer is and for whatever reason (most likely out of fear), he's not disclosing the fact that he received a letter. I'm going to stick with my gut feeling that the killer is either one or both of the forensic physicians since they're both pretty close to the investigation, and easily slip under the radar.

Title The Boyfriend Season 2 Spoiler
Before I go into detail with my thoughts about this season, I just have to say that this particular season should've…
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo... I'm not even gonna hold you, this season became more watchable once William and Izaya left the Green Room. I wasn't too surprised when Kazuyuki decided to leave and reconcile with his ex of fifteen years. In regard to Jobu, a part of me feels as though he never truly "liked" William in a romantic way as much as it may have been that he simply found William attractive, but after seeing him go all-in with Taeheon, perhaps Jobu is just into older men since Taeheon and William are practically the same age. While I'm happy to see Jobu leave the Green Room happy, I hope that he didn't end up getting hurt. If his reaction to the rejection from William was that intense, I can't possibly imagine how he'd feel being hurt by someone who seemingly reciprocated those feelings and made the "first move(s)" after their first awkward coffee truck day. I've said this before, and I don't mean it to sound or be offensive or derogatory in any way (it's simply an observation), but although he shared that his past relationship is why he doesn't allow people to get to know him, I wouldn't be surprised if Jobu were on the spectrum to a degree based on his behavioral patterns and mannerisms throughout the season. I had my reservations about whether or not Taeheon had genuine feelings for Jobu, but his confession in the final episode made me want to root for them. Also, the fact that they're the only couple that didn't meet before entering the Green Room (granted Jobu knew OF Taeheon from watching Season 1, but they had never formally met prior to Season 2) makes them more unique than the other couples. While they did know each other prior to entering the Green Room, I actually like Bomi and Huwei together. If I'm not mistaken (because I'm not going back to see which episode Ryuki entered the Green Room), Ryuki and Huwei also knew each other before seeing each other again in the Green Room. I feel as though while Ryuki may have been Huwei's type based on physical appearance, the thing that may have made him lean more toward Bomi is the fact that Ryuki had yet to come out to his family, and he may not have been the best "safe space" since he himself (Huwei) had yet to come out to his family. Despite breaking down in tears himself, Bomi was still able to provide a safe space for Huwei to be vulnerable. If there's a Season 3, I could see Hiroya and/or Tomoaki returning and hopefully finding a partner if they didn't find a partner outside of the Green Room. They both deserve to find someone that genuinely likes them for who they are.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... If Aisoon was so adamant about killing all of the victims on the specific day they were born, why is it that Khem was killed if he was born on a Thursday? I understand that he was a relatively minor character, but killing him before killing Darin (who was born on a Wednesday) doesn't really make much sense to me. Also, Singha's hospital stay could've most likely been prevented had he simply removed the noose from his neck after knocking out Bom. Lastly, while it was somewhat of a "full circle" moment to see the spirits of the victims he murdered finally get their revenge on him, it would've been nice to have some verbal confirmation of Aisoon's death.

Title The Boyfriend Season 2 Spoiler
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... I don't know why, but Tomoaki's apology felt like the apology of someone who was being gaslit into apologizing for something they didn't necessarily cause. Hiroya's initial apology felt more like a "here, damn" apology as opposed to a genuine apology despite the crying. In regard to the triangle between Taeheon, Jobu, and Hiroya, I hope for his sake that I'm wrong, but I can't help but feel that even if Taeheon chooses Jobu, Jobu will ultimately end up getting hurt. The reasons that Taeheon gave for choosing Jobu for the overnight coffee truck date didn't really make me believe that he has genuine feelings for Jobu as much as it felt as though he appreciated the feeling of being wanted by Jobu (if that makes sense). Also, this is merely an observation not meant to be offensive or derogatory in the slightest (and this could also just be chalked up to his seemingly bubbly yet timid personality), but Jobu may be somewhat on the spectrum; and if that's the case, I can understand why he takes what he perceives as rejection a lot harder than other guests at the Green Room. I honestly just want Jobu to find happiness (whatever that looks like for him). Huwei and Bomi are incredibly adorable; and because Huwei is so locked in on Bomi, that may have been the catalyst for Hiroya's "Jobu moment" in the sense that he realized that the guy he liked was simply no longer available. I can't wait for Huwei and Bomi to make their relationship official. Their chemistry is so pure.

Literally EVERYTHING that happened in this episode (episode 12) could've been prevented had Darin, Thup AND Singha…
This sentiment also applies to King; because had he not went into the cold room ALONE, the chances of him getting abducted would've decreased even if he had been drugged. There would've been more than one person to help fight Bom off. The same thing goes for Darin. Mek OFFERED to go to the restroom with him to prevent this very thing from happening, yet he (Darin) refused the help KNOWING that there's a serial killer actively looking for him. While I understand how Singha leaving Thup in a locked car may have seemed like he was "protecting Thup," it would've made a hell of a lot more sense for all four of them to go together and split up into teams of two. Finally, Thup leaving the car after the ghost of his mother outright TOLD him not to because it was dangerous was less than smart (to put it nicely). In regard to the "twist" of Aisoon being revealed as Thup's father, episode 11 pretty much gave that away seeing as how the cold room was located at the Santi House that Aisoon runs, and Bom somehow has access to. The fact that the ghost of Bom's mother is also in on this family killing spree is a bit wild when you think about it. I honestly feel like Aisoon (or Atikun) and Bom are the type of villains that you just can't "arrest." I feel like they're both going to have to die in order for this series to properly conclude.

*SIDE NOTE*

Why does it never occur to anyone during to fight/struggle scenes with Bom to at least attempt to kick or knee him in the balls? If I know you're trying to kill me, all bets are off; screw "fighting fair." I'm doing anything in my power to incapacitate you.

Title Dare You to Death Spoiler
At this point, it's looking like Jay may be a "red herring" of sorts since there isn't much info on him as the others in the group of "friends." I honestly don't know whether he actually hooked up with Fai or if he's covering for Tar because he's unaware that Jade and Kamin already know that Tar was a serial r*pist. and is probably the one who ACTUALLY got Fai pregnant. Based on her reaction in the scene with her mom, it doesn't seem like Champ was the one who got her pregnant. My guess is that the killer is whomever Tonkla hit with his car that night and had Champ help him with disposing of the body. The only question would be how that person would be interconnected with everyone in that "friend group," and why they (I assume the killer is a guy, but it's yet to be confirmed) have such a vendetta against the entire group. If the killer isn't Jay, for some reason, I feel like Jay knows who it is, and is keeping it to himself for some reason. There are aspects of this series that are low-key giving "I Know What You Did Last Summer" vibes.

Title The Boyfriend Season 2 Spoiler
It almost feels like Huwei is the "Kazuto" of this season because it seems like almost EVERYONE in the house is attracted to him. I kinda feel bad for Jobu. It seems as though all he truly wants is to feel seen and "included" whether it's in a romantic way or a platonic way. I'm saying this (the "platonic" piece) in reference to the message he sent to the group chat asking three guys to go to the sauna, but they ended up leaving him on "read," and going to the sauna without him. It's one thing for them to not include him when he clearly felt as though he had a solid enough friendship with them, but for any of them not to reply to his message and leave him on "read" is nasty work. Also, the fact that Jobu went into the sauna with William in an effort to conceal his tears from the impending rejection was genuinely sad to see. I hope that Jobu is able to find some happiness during his time at the Green Room (yes, I know this was taped months ago, but still).

Title 10Dance
With that particular ending, I feel as though a sequel is warranted. The chemistry between the two leads was strong, and the passion in everything they did from their dialogue to their dancing to their gazes was undeniable. My only significant critique is the fact that I think this story had the legs to be a full-length series where they could've dwelled deeper into each character allowing more detail and nuance as opposed to reducing it to a 2-hour movie where the audience is left to interpret some things on their own. Overall, this was a solid 9.5/10 for me, and I honestly hope to see a sequel.

*SIDE NOTE*

It's nice to see Machida in a prominent lead BL-esque role (because I wouldn't necessarily consider this movie a full-blown "BL" despite the fact that it has slight elements of a BL). I haven't seen him since the original "Cherry Magic." He was a good actor back then, and he was amazing in this film.
