I know it sounds cringe. But, maybe, in my opinion, he's doing this and saying such things so that Kuea will move in with him. This way, he can make sure his fiancée stays his fiancée. Maybe he is possessive but unwillingly to show it.. Lian, from what I've seen, has a quite different way of showing his feelings and care. But, I hope we'll get to know more of him as the story progresses. And as to why he behaves this way. The show has just started, we've got many more eps. Let there be something left for us to know along the way. Let's try to keep an open mind. And see where the story takes us all...

I'm not sure if Todd and Black dated in the past, but, the hesitation to pull the trigger.. he was trembling. Since the time Black woke up, we have seen Black being ruthless and evil, but, in that moment, he looked different. Black looks like someone who his guard up all the time, but to get beaten like that, someone very very close to him must have hurt him (only speculation).. I guess, even if they did not date in the past, we can see that Black cares for Todd.

I think that when you care for someone, even when you might not be entirely ok with it, thinking that it was the wish of someone you care, love and respect.. you would do it. KK's Grandfather was an important person to HL. I suppose maybe that explains it...But, let's see how it'll all turn out as the story progresses...

Even I feel confused as to how HL feels for KK. I think though he feels something for KK, he has always seen it as a promise that he made to KK's grandfather, like a duty that he has to be fulfilled. He cares for KK but is doing it to uphold the promise he made. I'm not sure. Ig we'll know as the story progresses... I can't wait to find out how HL found out KK is Kirin. Hope to see that, and also KK's reaction to HL knowing the truth about Kirin ):)
