Definitely going to check this out although I didn't really GET the first season.

Love both of these actors <3 This could be perfect!

I think many dislike her acting for the same reason as I - in some of her roles she fails to evoke sympathy. It might be personal preference, but her wooden expressions and small range of emotions usually leave me unable to immerse myself in the drama. She chooses interesting dramas so I always try to watch her new work (currently watching The Bride of Habaek), but every time I have this same problem. I just feel NOTHING for the character she's portraying. It doesn't require much to make me cry, but so far she's unable to do that. Actors I enjoy don't really have to be awesome actors, but they need to be able to make me feel something.

For reference my favourite actresses include: Yoon Eun Hye, Park Shin Hye, Moon Chae Won, Moon Geun Yong, Gong Hyo Jin, Uee, Choi Ji woo, Kim Hee Ae, Soo Ae, Choi Kang Hee, Hwang Jung Eum

edit: I wanted to add that I know nothing about her personal life. So I'm not disliking her acting because of a scandal or something like that.

I completely agree with you, this series is awesome, but I suggest you should remove the spoilers from your review :)

Why oh why did Song Jae Rim take this role? It's like mixing caviar and processed cheese. The other male lead is blank and boring and the female lead chooses him?! What the &%¤%&¤%&! A horribly bad story and even worse acting made this unbearable to watch even though I love Song Jae Rim =_=

They made a horrible mistake with this drama: First they show you the male lead and you get invested into how that romance develops, but then they never develop it anywhere! Then they spend almost 80% of the series creating another romantic storyline and you begin to root for the second male lead and THEN THAT ALSO GOES NOWHERE :D

I had fun with this drama, but my disinterest in the lead male just killed the romance for me :( As you can see from many comments, most people were not interested at all in the male lead. The writers should have reacted and changed the pairing when it is so obvious that the lead male is just not interesting enough.

Sorry for the VERY delayed response :D Their age difference is at least 10 years. Krystal is only 20 years old... at that age I was drinking beer in university so Krystal did a great job when you take her age into account.
