Happy for one, absolutely unfair and sad for another.
Bella, kyurem1337 was referencing the second couple. (and you obviously cant deny what a unfair and tragic ending it was for them) but yes, the main couple ending was very fair and realistic :)
It’s soo frustrating :( I really don’t understand the Sun Oh appeal. It was a cute relationship, I feel really bad for him that he was and still is heartbroken over Jojo, and he is a handsome guy, but I don’t see out of the ordinary chemistry, and he is such a bad friend. he kissed Jojo when he knew hyeyoung liked her and joked around his feelings. look at the difference between them, in the beginning hyeyoung lied that he didn't like Jojo, sun oh hitted on her even though he knew it was a lie, and hyeyoung didn't do anything and left sun oh alone. when sun oh was dumped, hye young just want to stand up for himself and start revealing his feelings for Jojo- he asked sun oh if h still liked Jojo and he lied and said no. but after hyeyoung hitted on Jojo, sun oh got so rude and confronted hyeyoung instead of staying quite like hyeyoung did before. then called hyeyoung a whimp for following him his whole life when hye young was such a good a friend to him and din't use him at all. If the writers choose sun oh because of popularity, I’ll be disappointed :(
On the other hand, I don’t understand how people did not fall in love with Hyeyoung in the last 3 episodes of S1, or at least became more open to a HyeyoungxKim Jojo final pairing... like... 'I don't feel alone' 'thats because you felt alone for so long, you don't even realize you feel that way'... like how can you not fall for him?? that is the sweetest line everr. and "its okay if you ignore my texts"- he doesn't care if Jojo return his love for her, he just need her to be happy and that's it. this is what differentiates hyeyoung from sun oh. hye young is a great character and friend to sun oh- he truly cares for Jojo but just doesn't show his affection, because he doesn't want to start drama with his best friend. he acts like he's okay when they were dating to be a good friend, but deep down you can clearly tell how emotionally hurt he was.
also Jung Ga Ram is sooooo handsome and he needs more attention, not only because of the lovely character he plays, but because he is a great actor and he is fine as hell.
If they don’t follow the webtoon, i will try to understand netflix- like this show is a ‘product’ and i get that you don't want backlash, etc. BUT ALL three NEED to end up happy. And by happy I don’t mean Hyeyoung watching on the sidelines fake smiling, I mean they need to give him a worthy girlfriend that he really loves. (I’m begging you writers). u can change the final lead but dont u dare make up a random ending that doesnt make sense. I have faith in you netflix. Dont disappoint me. this serie is great and has lots of potential- dont ruin it with a bad story ending to please bias viewers. I still stand by my opinion, and morally correct, hye young should be the final lead.
- sun oh shippers please don't hate- you can clarify your point or correct me with anything if im wrong. but don't just hate just because I ship hyeyoung- thank you. this has been a PSA lmao
Even if your preference is sunoh you have to admit deep down hyeyoung was just an amazing and super kind friend and character as a whole. I get it if Netflix choose sunoh at the end if they don't want hate and backlash because this show is a "product". but they need to create another ending that makes sense. the webtoon ending with Hye-Young final makes total sense to me and if they choose sun oh they need to change it. ALL three need to end up happy. And by happy I don’t mean Hyeyoung watching on the sidelines fake smiling- give him a girlfriend or something. if not, that is morally wrong for them to change the ending. I have fate in you Netflix don't disappoint me.
I don't care who she ends up with because I like them both, but as a character, we have to admit hye young is…

❤ Best couple with the best chemistry everr luv them so much ❤
I was a bit skeptical if she would end up with him at first but in the last few episodes it was suree she would. Hihi. I’m glad but I felt bad for thinking nara was actually bad in the middle, but she is still with sae royi. Nara deserved him too. She is gorgeous and has a kind heart. They should have left another guy for her :( like bo gum chef- it would have been great if they extended the show to have their story too my god that is literally a goals couple!! It was interesting having a second lead syndrome for a girl-that’s rare in dramas. Royi is so loyal that all of his followers has his back till the end like Nara, the ingredients police, etc. god I love him.
there is NO doubt that PSJ is one of the best actor at the moment! he portrays his roles ✨ PERFECTLY ✨from a.. - bullied boy turned mean outside sweetest inside magazine executive named SungJoon - the cutest and most jealous boyfriend who is an extroverted fighter named Dongman - a narcissist and virtually perfect (in all aspects?) CEO who is adorable as a first-time boyfriend named YoungJoon - and a stubborn stud who never gives up on his dream named Sae Royi This is evident as all of his dramas are great hits (She was pretty, Fight my way, What's wrong with SK, Itaewon class, etc.)- if you need a drama just watch one of his and you won't be disappointed!! he is really good at picking wonderful storylines to act in. Plus he is also super lucky to work with the best female leads that you will die forrr (Hwang Jung eum, Kim Ji won, park min young, Kim da mi ) ????
I watched it because the drama is very popular in my country. The plot was interesting but for me, those 16 episodes…
the episodes were designed to be watched 2 episodes per week so if you watched it while it aired, you would have had a much better experience like me!! as I watched it while it aired, the spacing of the episodes was perfect in my opinion. gives enough information and development in each episode but not be too dragging and slow. and each episode ends with a cliffhanger that makes you annoyed that you have to wait for the next!! it was amazing!! I loved the feeling and that's the beauty of Korean dramas!!
It's good but a bit draggy could have been cut shorter to 12 epsliterally just here for Seo Joon and some of the…
