So I just read the novel… knowing the relationships between the characters and the ages gap between the various actors that are so obvious, this is gonna feel VERY weird if they follow the original novel
Ex : Jin Jingxue, played Maggie Huang, is caught in a love triangle between Situ Weilian and Li Yingliang… but it’s so obvious the two actors are younger than her ! (one of these two is no more than 20 when she’s already 31)

Gabrielle Guan is already very beautiful but they really NAILED it with costumes and make up in that movie, and turned her into a stunning and outstanding beauty !
