I remember reading that some people found the billiard/snooker parts boring and fast forwarded them.. hahah that makes me laugh, because this show hasn't portrayed how damn long those games are and it doesn't really explain how straining that actually can be on your body. I have a snooker watcher at home and the reality of it is much slower and more boring.. This show did a great job of showing just enough for it to be about it, but also not bore with the details. each to their own of course, but I certainly really enjoyed watching every part of it.

This has such a high rating and I want to see why, but it’s hard to get past the second episode. I really don’t enjoy weak, overly naïve, or “helpless” female leads.. Please someone tell me she improves?

It’s a great drama worth a watch. Stunning visuals and a great emotional ride.

Yes, he does, but it’s handeled more emotionally rather than showing a dramatic end. For some it’s a sad ending but to me it’s also kinda hopeful in its own way, so i would say bittersweet ending.

this is such a highly rated drama, but oh god, i'm having a hard time watching this. I'm sure that the translations are just really off and don't do justice to carry over the thought.. So I'm left feeling that the dialogues are so unnatural and the flow is so strange.

I really enjoyed the male lead’s character and how well they showed his misunderstood side. The female lead’s goals weren’t always clear, which made it a bit confusing at times. Visually, the drama was absolutely stunning, but the frustrating antagonist and some story choices made it a mixed experience overall.

currently watching The tale of Nokdu and i really appreciated his smile and natural teeth. Don’t tell me we lost another baddie to veneers? 😭

It’s definitely better than i expected and you can get your romance fix. Don’t expect a masterpiece tho.
