Now I understand why people are reluctant to receive romance within a tragic historical event. It's still enjoyable but it doesn't sit well with the overall logic and reasoning. With all the (possible) threats of being imprisoned and murdered, you better go as far as you can from those two families. Because in a case like this, the future indeed matters more than the present, or else you're inviting doom to your doorstep. Perhaps that's the point of the story, the more reasons to believe that this won't end happily.
If you want to make a series of a psychopathic murderer who has an IQ of 160, they better hire writers who have an IQ of 160, much better if they have psychopathic traits too. 1:100 is easy, way easier than finding a person with an IQ of 160 onwards; it's 3 in 10,000.
