Haha I'm so conflicted. One moment I believe XZ and YB are just friends. Other times, I feel like my eyes and my heart are playing tricks on me. It seem like there's something there sighhhh....

I know right? The story is wonderful, the characters are all great, the chemistry between the two main leads is top-notch, the music, the relationship, the acting; what else am I missing? We even have a group of young, talented supporting actors that can steal fans heart. CQL really did things right.

I'm glad CQL was able to bring you that 3 months of happiness. While I love CQL, it never hold me back from watching other dramas (although I might not enjoy it as much lol). I'm grateful for all the things that this show has given us and I support it, but we don't owe CQL anything and we should never feel like we do. The reason why I come back ever now and then is because this show do have a greater meaning to me than any other show.

Xiao Zhan got my vote. I have to say though, the picture they use doesn't do him justice.

Haha I’m really surprise too because my mom is kind of like an old geezer. She’s definitely new to this whole BL concept. That’s why one of the many good things about CQL is that it doesn’t shove the romance into your face and force you to believe that these two people are in love with each other. Even though you kind of just know that they are though lol.

No joke. My mom saw bits and pieces of the drama while I was watching it. I think she got smitten by Xiao Zhan/Wei Wuxian. Her reaction is too cute lol.

There’s something even more heart-wrenching seeing a person that’s “born with a smile” like Wei Wuxian having to go through so much suffering. In many ways, the author is very clever. I mean, look at that smile. It shouldn’t be legal. Xiao Zhan really did WWX justice.

Watch it with an open mind and you will be pleasantly surprise. Btw if you're not familiar with Chinese drama, it could get really confusing.

I guess I'm one of the few that fell deeply in love with the drama AFTER it ended lol. I mean I like it while watching it but I was too conflicted and confused with my feeling to see how beautiful of a drama it really is. The second time I watched episode 2, the feels hit me so hard I burst out in tears every 10 minutes of that episode.

I hope that one day the cast of CQL will return to do another live action of a novel from the same author.

I hope you will end up liking it. But even if it doesn't fit your preference, it's always nice to see people like you whose still willing to give this drama a try even after months of it finished airing :)

Thank you for addressing this issue and CQL did a good job underlining this as well. Like what WWX said when he started practicing dark magic, “How can others understand my temperament better than myself”. We as the audience only see and hear what is given to us and sometimes that may not be the whole picture. We can only choose to believe or not to believe. What is black and what is white, is just how we choose to perceive it.

There's so many layers to this, I'm still amaze at how the story is able to pull everything together so well :D

Does CQL's fans have an official name? Because I feel like I am one of those undead that follow WWX's flute and just lurks around here in MDL all day xD

For me, when I finish the drama for the first time I had mixed feeling towards it. Only after weeks of the drama being over did I realize how beautiful this drama is. And now it become something so personal, like an attachment I can’t bare to let go. You might experience the same thing like me, or like many other who just love/hate the drama right off the bat.

I don’t believe everything I hear on the internet, especially in the entertainment business. Unless I see it myself, I judge base on what my heart tells me, and Yu Bin just doesn’t seem like that type of person. Let’s try not to start any fanwar here.
