It's one of those dramas you can watch where you just want to turn off your brain and need something to pass the time while laying in bed sick. That's all there is to it. I don't understand the hype for it. Hopefully it picks up in the end .
Thinking about the competition pisses me off too. What kind of king stakes an entire country's future on a cooking contest without proper, unbiased judges?? So unserious lmao . Lazy storytelling too. If this was a somewhat serious drama, and he wasn't the ml , i would honestly support the villians. He's not good to his people or his country. I can't even call him a tyrant because he's not tyrannical either lol
it's finally getting exciting. i was getting bored. Honestly i like it but there's so much missed potential. the story is too linear and simple and gives me early 2010's drama vibes. lots of repeated scenes too with all the imaginative food tasting . Could be so much better.

This was perfect. 10/10 . The first episode seemed really off but it only became better and better as i continued watching. A comforting, medium paced drama that you won't get bored of. The ML is funny af btw. The comedy was worth it. Don't let the bad reviews deter you.
It fell off so bad at the end my god. It's like the writer got so sick and tired of it that they just wrote whatever just to finish it. The final episodes had no intensity at all and seemed like filler with bad lines and stupid love confessions??? in the final battle , they could've at least tried to get us emotionally invested. but it just felt like background noise. it started off so good whyyyyyyy
Why does everyone find 2ml annoying? Maybe because i watched A dream within a dream before this, this 2ml seems super mild when compared to Chu Guihong .
