i just finished binge watching it, for my case i didn't compare a bit. this series focused on juvenile cases and is stuck in the courtroom. the violence lies stories not on hands on experience.

also Kim Hye Soo's acting is way too good 🫶🫶 i have nothing to say!!

Park Eun Bin really doesn't disappoint. I love her portrayal here. she really embodies a 27 years old.

i suggest either go with WeTv or iQiyi for better eng sub

the first two episodes were really funny hahahaha i had a good laugh. good plot line and it kept me hooked from start to finish.

now i can't wait for more episodes. i have a pretty high expectation for this one.

i refuse to believe that Ci Sha is a 1997. 🫣 I thought he's at least 33-35 hahahahahahaha

cuz he is a spoiled kid. he doesn't realize that all he is doing is just making the FML hate her more.

ahh I may have mixed them up. I remember now. So this part was explained when XZ found Bao'er escaping in the woods.

She is afraid of everyone and all she thinks about was the survival of her son. So when the crown prince died, she was the next target + his son. so she plotted to switch her son with the Cheng Xin son from the get go. So Crown Princess burned her son's face so he would not be recognizable and let him wore CX son's clothes. So when CX wife took Qi Min, she didnt recognize him until she discovered she was not her son afterall.

This is only my understanding based on the cdrama and not referencing the novel.
1. she felt guilty for her brother of being a traitor to the Great Yin after seeing the forged letter that was send to Wei Yan. So from my understanding that is her way of atoning sin for his brother that led to his husband's death

2. Because if she didn't, Wei Yan will be accused of coveting Marital crime and National crime. that fact that he left the barracks to her palace after receiving that letter is already a national crime. what more if he went to the crown princess's chamber. so she sacrificed herself to avoid all of those crime to Wei Yan

3. This i have to confirm. i didn't pay attention on what was his father's title when he was still a general 🤭

4. No. he didn't. that was just an illustration of Wei Yan in his mind while drinking the poisoned wine. As if he was drinking it with Xie Zheng.
The only part Xie Zheng cisited the prison, he didn't met Wei Yan directly. only eavesdropped from Grand Tutor Tao and Wei Yan's conversation

This is a solid series! I love every part of it. This maybe my longest December 12 of my life. 16 episode of this is just enough for the whole series. It has a very good plot and it was consistent from start to finish. Barely seen any loop holes.I absolutely love the romance. It was just enough to spice the whole series. Bonus! It was a mature, not cringe, good amount of romance in it. It's not the main plot but like a dessert.The soundtrack was amazing! It adds the thrill and the effects of the scenes like you are being pulled into it as well. Acting? Couldn't ask for more! Everyone is great! The subtle differences of everyone made it more believable.
