am i the only one getting extreme deja vu from this drama, not in an all kdramas are the same way, but in a why does it feel like it already watched these exact scenes 5 years ago way. everything feels weirdly familiar to an almost uncanny level. the drama is still entertaining btw, this isn’t hate. the acting is good, the story itself is interesting and well written, and the characters are developed well enough to get attached to them. my brain just refuses to process it as new content for some reason😂

I might be a bit harsh on this series, but I’m still pushing through the last 2 episodes. personaly i woudnt rate it more than 5/10

Here are some thoughts up to episode 10.
They basically skipped the romance build up and went straight into “im in love” the whole “im deceiving you for money” phase was barely explored before they jumped into real feelings. The part where they find out about the lies and was actually interesting, but then the forgiving and getting back together phase slows things down, it feels inconsistent compared to how rushed everything else was. Same issue with the second couple.
Overall, the pacing, emotional development, and tone feel pretty inconsistent. The show doesn’t really know if it wants to be funny or serious, and it mixes both in a way that doesnt fully work (at least for me). Because of that, the connection to the characters and their struggles doesn’t feel that strong.
The idea is good, but it needed better execution.

Just watched the first episode, I can’t say I’m fully invested yet, but it might be too early for that. For me personally, it felt a bit off. The acting is fine, the chemistry isn’t perfect but for a BL it’s good enough. Camera work, lighting, and sound all seem okay. The pacing is a bit off, but not in a way that completely ruins it. The characters are already falling in love pretty quickly, so it might be one of those rushed series that ends up with some plot holes but is still interesting enough to watch. I just can’t shake that 'off' feeling. It’s not because of the mystery plot or anything like that, it just feels like something is missing in almost every scene.

People are way too harsh on this drama. Yes, it has flaws and could’ve benefited from more episodes to properly develop the characters, relationships and fully finish every plot, but that doesn’t make it terrible. The acting was solid, both couples had decent chemistry, and the dynamics were actually interesting. Not every drama needs to be top tier productions to be enjoyable. If you judge it for what it is instead of expecting perfection, it’s a decent, entertaining watch with some genuinely good moments.

This was better than I expected. For a short series the actors were good enough. the story itself is good, although it wasn’t done in the best way. The production was surprisingly good too. It did feel a bit too fast moving, but I wasnt expecting some masterpiece from a series like that.

i mean it wasn’t rose petals and a bow. there was no grand confession, it felt more like continuation. no future plan, no “we’ll be okay forever.” we didnt get happy moments or bonding like a lot of people expected (at least from what i saw in the comments) but i actually liked it that way.
And about them getting back together “with almost no reason”, that isn’t true. they were never emotionally apart in the first place. they're deeply codependent on each other. they didn’t really break up, it felt more like avoidance. for them to get back together all they needed was a trigger and that trigger was pheem. it might’ve been rushed, but within the context of the story it makes complete sense to me.

I don’t get it, why are people disappointed with this ending? aren’t this series main point burnout, uncertainty, and the loss of identity? this series from the beginning had a specific feeling to it. Romance wasnt as fun and bubbly, especially when the main leads values of art contradict each other. the ending shouldn’t be covered in rose petals and tied with a bow, burnout and mental health struggles don’t disappear like that. The only thing you can do is simply try it out and do what you feel in the moment is right. it didn’t have any loose ends or unfinished storylines. It’s simply a bit more artistic, realistic, and more hollow. This series aimed towards realistic life friendships, relationships, and dynamics over a romance drama like feel. The ending gave exactly what the series wanted it to give, continuation instead of full closure, survival instead of victory and always lingering uncertainty of life.

I like how they actually closed off the main story while still giving the action . Entertaining, but it felt more like a money grab than something for the series or the viewers but honestly, good for them 😄

The story was good and they definitely had good chemistry, but the execution did not hold my attention. It got boring way too fast, and I had to skip through some parts just to actually finish the series. kind of disappointed because it really had good potential.

Now we seriously need more fluffy mafia families. The contrast of being in the mafia while also being cringey, cute, and completely over the top is something that really needs to be explored more.😆

I mean, if they are reviewing episode by episode, that is fine, but it makes more sense to do it in the reviews of specific episodes or in the comment section, not as a full series review like a lot of people do for some reason. When I try to find an actual review to decide if I am interested, I have to go through a bunch of unnecessary reactions and first impressions instead 😅

In that case, don’t change it too much. If you’re interested in newspaper style reviews, keep practicing, this place is a good way to do that. And you already have a strong, well developed style too! 😄

Am I the only one not liking all these reviews that judge the series overall when it isn’t even finished airing? I mean, episode by episode impressions are fine, but giving a full review or calling the series amazing before the ending feels weird. For me, the final episode makes or breaks the series overall. I don’t write reviews often but when i do i always try to write them when i've seen the whole series 😄

I am not a pro reviewer, but your reviews feel more like essays than reviews. They are very long and very polished, which sometimes makes them feel less honest. The feeling I get while reading them is more like you are trying to sell the series than share your experience of it. People clearly enjoy them, so it is not bad, but simpler wording usually feels more real. You do hit the important parts of the story, just remember a review does not need full retelling. It is about your opinion with as few spoilers as possible. Also, when everything is rated 9 or 10, it makes it hard to tell what is actually special. Even things we love have flaws, and pointing them out makes a review more trustworthy. Keep going, you clearly have a natural talent for writing. ❤️

I’m a little disappointed. The chemistry is good, the acting is good, but it feels like they tried to squeeze a 12episode story into eight half hour episodes. The story is complex enough that you don’t get enough time to process it or connect with the characters, so the big changes and character development don’t feel as significant. The time jumps and flashbacks sometimes feel like whiplash.
The series isn’t bad but when the writers try to put trauma, romance, growth, spice, jealousy, a redemption arc, and a pretty heartbreaking backstory, it ends up feeling chaotic and crowded. It’s like fast food entertainment so many ingredients, but not filling enough, i’m gonna wait for the series to fully end, but so far its a 5/10 for me. Just because it has good quality NC scenes, doesn’t mean its a well made series overall.

Reading these comments, I’m confused, what kind of ending do y’all need? the main couples are out to their families, they just want to keep it private and not go public. the girlies are obviously together, but they’re not the main focus, just there to stir things up a bit. a calm ending after all that chaos honestly feels like the perfect outcome.

I’m stuck on that fake beard, I was crying laughing. Didn’t catch a single thing said and had to take a whole day off just to focus without that image haunting my brain.

Everyone's giving it bad comments, but for a short, low budget series, it was good enough. The story is actually interesting I honestly think it could’ve been way better as a movie with a proper budget.

Currently on episode 6… I was already forcing myself to keep watching from episode 3, and I'm struggling! The acting definitely isn’t great, and the overall plot is just meh so far. It feels kind of pointless for the series, there’s no real drama or any hooks to keep your attention. I don’t want to drop it since I've already watched so much, but it’s a real struggle. I'm watching one episode at a time, with multiple breaks. I really hope the ending will make everything worth it.
