My Golden Blood: Predictable, But Worth the Ride
My Golden Blood isn’t the kind of series that’ll blow your mind, but it’s still a fun ride if you don’t go in expecting too much. The overall plot is pretty easy to predict, and it follows the usual bl formula without many risks. That said, I really liked the core idea behind the series. Still, there were a few moments that caught me off guard in a good way, which kept me watching. What truly stood out and, honestly, what made the experience unforgettable was the special effects editing in the first and final episodes. I’m talking next level, low budget, green screen fever dream energy. It was so unexpected and over the top that it became a highlight in its own it was so bad it was perfect.
It might not be flawless, but it’s definitely worth watching ,just don’t go in expecting anything groundbreaking. It’s a pretty standard, predictable series, but the main couple had decent chemistry and carried the story well. If you're in the mood for something simple with a few moments that don’t go exactly how you’d expect, My Golden Blood delivers just that.

Compelling Concept, but Flawed Execution
The concept of an AI-human relationship in Anti Reset is compelling but could have been executed better, especially with Ping's backstory. The focus on his lost dog as the sole reason for his coldness feels inadequate, leaving his character underdeveloped. His bond with 9, the AI, also feels off, especially with him constantly associating 9 with his dog early on, which doesn't make for a healthy, meaningful relationship arc. While the interactions between the main characters were cute, and it was interesting to explore both perspectives, the relationship still felt strange. Watching a human fall in love with what is essentially imagination was difficult and uncomfortable, even though 9 was developing and showing new characteristics like love, as an AI. In my opinion, the ideal conclusion would have been for 9 to leave, allowing Ping to build the strength to pursue a real human connection after experiencing love for the first time, even if it was with an AI. Overall, the series wasn't bad, but the happy ending felt unfulfilling. Was this review helpful to you?
A Heartwarming BL Series with Minimal to No Red Flags
This is one of the best portrayals of friendship in BL history. The support each character gives to one another is truly heartwarming, and the way they care for and help each other is beautiful. The red flags are minimal perhaps the smallest I've ever seen. Typically, BL series feature at least one major red flag, but in this series, I can't find any.
The story of a few couples might not be the best developed, but I can't say that it made anything worse. But all couples faced unique challenges in their relationships and overcame themin a good way.
Some series overdo the comedy, but this one was pretty balanced between serious, heartwarming, funny, and blatantly silly moments.
Overall, I consider this one of the better series of the year. It's lighthearted, fun, and heartwarming, without being over the top in any aspect.

Cute/creepy, Laid-Back College Love Story
A cute, laid-back college love story about two seemingly different people. However, by the end, it becomes clear that they are more similar than they initially appear.Character are: Takara - A senior who appears cold and closed-off, with few friends. However, he's insanely popular because of his looks.(I liked how Takara's backstory was presented. It did a great job of explaining his closed-off mindset and why he behaves the way he does). Taishin - A cute, always confused, naive, overly happy, easygoing, and somewhat creepy freshman.(we don't get much of Taishin backstory just mainly that he comes from a great family)
As the story progresses the similarities between them are the driving point of the story and it's obvious. Both Takara and Taishin are extreme overthinkers, constantly afraid of scaring each other away. They share a deep love for hiking, nature, and a tendency to be highly critical of themselves. Despite not being shown too obviously, they gradually understand and connect with each other because of them.
Now let's talk about the first official time they met, by far the strangest and, obviously, the creepiest part of the series. After their coincidental meeting in the mountains, where Taishin was grieving the loss of his beloved bird, Takara chose to stay and comfort him, offering a small life lesson: that he would be fine. This one encounter led Taishin to decide he needed to enroll in Takara's university, join his hiking club, and learn everything about him. To his defense, Taishin's character is supposed to be oblivious to almost everything, including how creepy his actions might seem. However, following someone so obsessively after just one conversation is a bit much, especially when he admits in front of his friend that he enrolled in his university just because of that brief interaction.
The ending feels a bit unfinished for my liking. I felt like something was missing. I still don't know if Taishin's family knows about their relationship, what happened with Takara's mother, or how their friends reacted to them being together. Their relationship didn't really develop either, they always seem a bit distant and scared of making the wrong move, which doesn't quite fit the idea of them constantly hanging out, having sleepovers, and always talking. I can't say there was any significant character development, either individually or together.

Do not let negative comments turn you away, watch it!
I usually do not write reviews in a way that feels like I am trying to sell a series, but with how many negative comments The Sign gets, I genuinely want more people to give it a chance. It is absolutely worth watching, even with its flaws. Especially when other series with much bigger issues including romanticizing abuse or crossing serious lines, get hyped like they are flawless masterpieces. If those shows can be praised, then a genuinely different and unique series like this deserves hype too.The series aimed high, trying to juggle action, fantasy, romance, and crime and in my opinion, that is exactly what made it memorable. The actors did a great job, especially with how many different settings, tones and emotional shifts they had to handle.
The mythology was a nice touch and really helped the series feel unique, though I admit I laughed a few times at the costumes and dramatic angry screams. The ending was finished enough for the plot, but emotionally I wanted more. Two extra episodes showing what actually happened afterward, especially reunions with friends, coworkers, and family, would have made it much more satisfying. At the same time, some episodes in the middle could have been merged, cuz some parts of the story felt a bit dragged out. One thing I personally wished for was to see more of the powers being shown, especially from all the characters who actually have them, considering how important they are to the story.
I also know some people heavily criticized the series over nudity, but honestly, this is an Idol Factory production. I did not expect anything different. If that made someone uncomfortable or disappointed, then this series was simply not for them.
Overall, The Sign deserves to be watched. Do not let negative comments turn you away. It is different, ambitious, and genuinely entertaining.

Me and Who, great chemistry and so many questions
This series left me with a really good impression and made me want to see more of these actors’ work in the future. You can tell they are getting better and better. The story was engaging and I honestly cannot say I was bored at any point. The pacing was good, and the actors did a great job. The plot twists were pretty standard and easy to predict, but still engaging and a breath of fresh air. The only thing that felt missing for me was world building. I was so invested in this series that it left me with a lot of questions. The main couple, Pho and Suriya, had really good chemistry. Their story was good, but personally it lacked their own perspectives. We got to see how they worked together and how they fell in love, but I wanted more of their inner thoughts about what was actually happening. Both of them seemed to adapt and move on pretty quickly. It would have been nice to see Pho actually struggle to accept the new reality, how it happened, where he is, and so on. Same with Suriya. This is also where the lack of world building shows. Is someone taking over another person’s body from another dimension normal? How many people have these abilities? Are there other abilities too?
Now the second couple’s dynamic was everything I was hoping for from the main couple. Tailah being confused about how Janjak could guess his mind, finding out about the mind reading, keeping distance at first, then slowly warming up and accepting it. The way Janjak carefully tried to be less threatening and not scare Tailah, and then them finally getting together. This was exactly what I needed from the main leads: the confusion, the figuring things out, and then the connection.
Their families were not very remarkable, more like typical drama families, but I really wanted to see more of Apo’s brother Ashin. Why was he wearing the protective necklace? How did he find out? What did he think about Suriya and his family in the beginning, and how did his opinion change by the end?
Now Yi. It was pretty obvious he was the bad guy. Even though his character was not shown much, he was portrayed very well. Not much else to say about him.
We did not get to know the real Apo that well, but in the end he seemed very different from how people described him. That was a nice touch, because we really do not fully know people, even when they are close to us.
And the monk. How and why did he even make Pho become Apo? Was it another chance for Pho? And what about the “happy” or “satisfied” ending for Apo? Did he get another life, another universe?
The most interesting part for me was right before Pho died, when he seemed to cross paths with Suriya from his original life. That felt really important, so I am curious why it was not explored more. Did Apo and Pho exchange bodies? Or did Pho die in his original life and Apo in his?
I had too many questions, but in the end the series still holds itself very well. It is entertaining, never boring, and the chemistry between family members, couples, and friends feels realistic, interesting, and nice to watch. The idea of another universe and mind reading powers is fresh and a really nice touch for this drama

Good story, messy execution, still fun. Personally, worth the watch
The beginning made me laugh at the bad acting and filming pace. By the middle of the series, it got a bit boring, but the story itself was actually interesting, and the crazy ending somehow pulled everything together to make a decent series. Now, talking about the main couple. Nawa’s backstory and his home life were very nicely shown, the struggle of a family having a merman son and a mother who seemingly didn’t like him was a good reflection of real life issues, parents not fully accepting their kids as they are. It felt real and raw at times, and the character development between mother and son felt natural.
The chemistry between the main leads was good. Nawa’s struggles with hiding his identity, dealing with a persistent “friend” who kept manipulating him, and his perception of human merman connections, shaped by his home life and the lies he was told until the last minute, were interesting and definitely gave an unsettling feeling. But Phu’s story, with his understanding and acceptance of mermans while being afraid and confused, felt extremely rushed."
The second couple’s story was less intense, but still interesting enough to watch.
As for the ending, it was unexpected and unbelievable, but also kind of beautiful. The sacrifice over mistakes, lies, and deception was an interesting way to show the level of obsession one can have and how those obsessions can impact your self as a person. The hidden secrets within families, which can ruin generations, added a lot of weight to the story.
Overall, the series wasn’t amazing. It had a good story and interesting plot twists, but it wasn’t executed well enough. The ending felt rushed, with all the major events crammed together, making it jarring and a bit confusing, which made it less engaging. Although the individual stories, characters, and their development were good, the series didn’t let the viewer fully attach to the characters, making the turning points feel less impactful. The bad acting didn’t ruin it for me it actually made some scenes pretty funny and gave off a bit of that older BL vibe.
If you want something light, easily watchable, and enjoy series like this without expecting perfection, it’s a good time spender. Personally, I don’t regret watching it.

One of the best Chinese films I have seen
A deeply emotional impact, especially when discussing bullying, social tension, friendship, love, and the difficult adolescent mindset and life. Amazing cinematography and acting. A perfect balance between drama, romance, thriller, and crime genres. This is one of the best Chinese films I have seen. It evokes strong emotions and makes you reflect not only on your own life but also on the lives of others. Was this review helpful to you?

Unconventional Love Story
The production quality of the series is very impressive, with excellent attention to detail in every aspect. The acting is particularly noteworthy, as I absolutely loved how the characters were portrayed, especially the seemingly genuine relationships between the protagonist and his pets. The actors did a great job bringing out the emotional depth of those interactions, making the bond between the character and his 'pets' feel authentic and relatable. The 'pets' themselves were portrayed with remarkable accuracy, embodying the distinct characteristics of a cat and dog perfectly, which added to the overall believability of the story. Additionally, the soundtrack complemented the tone of the series and was genuinely enjoyable, enhancing the mood and atmosphere of the scenes.Once you come to terms with the idea that the pets are deceased and the protagonist has a romantic connection with his dog, the series becomes quite enjoyable.

Soulless
Personally, very overrated. I have tried to finish this series multiple times and have never been able to watch over half of it. I believe the big popularity stands from the fandoms and loved actors, not the series itself. The acting is good, the soundtrack is good, the cinematography is good, but there is something about this series I just can’t get past to actually be interested in the story and characters. It feels like this series has no soul in it, only horny young adults with drinking problems. Not even one character seems lovable, or honestly fully redeemable from what I have watched. It gives the same vibe as Playboy the Series: a lot of eye candy and NC scenes that overshadow the plot, storylines, and character development.

Great cast, mid script
his series definitely isn’t one of the best, but it’s also not as bad as some people say. Yes, the script wasn’t great, but the story had potential and some real depth, even though it was dark and messed up.The only characters who weren’t problematic were the girls, but I feel like they didn’t get enough chances to show off their acting.
The school kids didn’t make any sense in the story, they had no real purpose and just took attention away from the main couple for no good reason.
Now about the second couple… what was that? Their whole thing gave major PeteVegas vibes. And I don’t mind dark or intense stories, but way too much happened in way too little time.
Still, the series was good enough. The acting was actually really nice, these actors deserve better scripts in better series.
I don’t think a bad script is enough to say that this show was bad or unwatchable like some people claim. I enjoyed the chemistry, acting, and camera work. So when I see people rating it like 2/10, that feels like overreacting. I’d give it a 6/10 easily, even if the script wasn’t good enough.
I haven’t read the novel, but they really didn’t have to put every couple in these series, it was unnecessary knowing it wasn’t gonna be long. I know they planned for one more episode, but honestly have no idea what they would have done to make it less chaotic than it was now. The ending was rushed, but knowing the circumstances, it wasn’t the worst.
Honestly, season 2 wouldn’t be too bad, I believe with a good script, maybe a bit longer episodes or a few additional episodes, they could pull everything together just fine.
I wouldn’t recommend it, but wouldn’t say that you shouldn’t watch it either.

Revenge and Broken Minds
The film shows how the mind can be both scary and unreliable, changing the way characters see the world. What’s even scarier is how the people we trust, especially family, can hurt us more than anything else. The real villains aren’t strangers, but those who should care for us. The film plays with the idea that the mind can be both terrifying and unreliable, as it twists and distorts reality under enough pressure. It also explores what people are willing to do to get revenge or save their loved ones, pushing them to make unimaginable choices. It’s a film that leaves a lasting impression due to its strong performances, gripping storytelling, and unforgettable plot twists. Was this review helpful to you?
Easygoing, enjoyable, fluffy, funny and worth the watch
Usually my ratings are a bit lower, but honestly I did not find any problems with this series. The ending did not feel rushed, the acting was amazing, and there was a really good balance between humor and intense, meaningful moments. The chemistry between both couples felt natural and easygoing. There was some drama, but it was resolved pretty casually while still keeping things interesting. The series gave enough time to get to know all the characters and enough of their backstories to actually feel their pain and be happy for them. The soundtrack was enjoyable too.For me, this is a rare case where every couple’s storyline was equally interesting and entertaining. I did want to know a bit more about Tawan and his backstory, but somehow they still managed to make his character good enough even without fully exploring it.
Another really nice thing, which honestly should be normal in dramas, was characters actually acknowledging cringey lines and actions. It made everything way funnier and more natural.
And can I say, this might be the fluffiest mafia family in the entire BL universe so far. A truly nice and unique touch that deserves to be explored way more.
Overall, this drama is very easygoing, so I can easily recommend it to anyone. It also works really well as a BL starter for people who are just getting into the genre
