Sweet and short with a happy ending
The chemistry between Fay and Mameaw was captivating from their very first scene. You could feel Fay's internal struggle as she tried to rationalize away feelings that her heart refused to let go of, while Mameaw’s earnest affection slowly broke down her walls. For a short drama, it was incredibly sweet to watch, though I wish there had been more romantic moments between the leads. The unnecessary ex-girlfriend drama sometimes felt like it detracted from the main couple’s development. The honesty of the story was excellent, as was the acting from everyone. Love is messy. It doesn’t always travel in a straight line. Yes, Ajin was very wrong to cheat with a guy, and she paid the price for her deception. Haeri showed the truest love, in letting Soyul go. She truly cared for Soyul’s happiness over her own. Contrast that with the guy who was only looking out for himself. I appreciate the uniqueness of the story and how it did not take the easy way out. I think it was brave in showing that even though love can be complicated, things can still work out. I hope Haeri finds the love she deserves with someone else, someone who will love her, and only her, for the good, kind person she is. Soyul and Ajin have learned their own valuable lesson, though I think these characters will have to rebuild the complete trust necessary in a relationship.Again, this was an amazing, original and authentic storyline very, very well done.
