How is this only 7.4? Is it because it is so real? I watched it holding my breath as it was done so well. Raw human emotions and desires in all senses. We chase away all the good things in our lives and gladly accept the pain. Boys did an amazing executing their parts.
Oh, no wonder it took soooo long to be released. Leads are coming from Kpop industry so they have to keep their noses clean. BL is still a taboo in mainstream Korea. And sources on the scandals, I am not shocked that the kids would be harassed in real life.
I am so here for NC only. James is stunning when he drops his shirts off his shoulder, rolls his eyes from pleasure and such. Other than that its so so. Maybe that's why every episode they have him taking his shirt off slowly. Blown away by the numbers on YouTube, but what sells- sells.
Wow. Couldn't possibly disagree more. I'll just mention the most glaring statement with which I take issue: "Nothing…
I should correct myself- every Successful President, Chairman, CEO, Founder is a sociopath or has some of the features of that they don't tell you on the news. Leadership skill (strong one) comes with exactly that. And if you point out a person from Frobes 100 list globally who is not, I will go work for that person. Agree on all your points. And if you enjoy twisted things, this is your show. I promise.

So far they have been following the book to the letter almost. Its not a fluffy happy story like some BL series are, but so far they have done a great job developing the characters. In real life every President is a sociopath: work, school, any association. It takes certain character strengths to get there. Taehyung is a very smart kid and he knows exactly what he is doing, very aware of his image. He is too deeply twisted, but so is Daeul. This is unfortunately not a rainbow and unicorns story that we need for dopamine rush. But in its own way it is beautiful. You can actually find the book online with the same title in the open source collections, I read it in like 2 hours. Well done in terms of webtooning- simple but to the point. As someone mentioned in comments, its not BL with steamy scenes, its a life story with some string pulling and perfect ending after crazy rollercoaster of this story. Korean BL dramas are not known for that, and this one is really good, because of a few good potential plot twists.

You are talking about the character, not the acting skills, and Taehyung is a very complex character. I finished the book with like: what a hell I just read: drama, trauma and blood. My comment was about the quality of the show overall. I am glad you feel what you feel, as the actor is doing a great job representing the book character. I would continue watching, if they follow the book- its about to get worse.
This is first Japanese BL drama that I would rate 10/10. Because the story is unknown to general public, you can not spoil the ending by ready the book. Both leads are perfectly casted for the roles and are doing an amazing job relaying the story.
Camera work is on point, NC is so intimate and full of love and first time anxiety. The set up, the anticipation of it built well from the get go.
Fumiya and Ritzu have great chemistry. Partial to Ritzu as he is artistic and free spirit. He says what he thinks and feels.
Great to see Katori from Takara and Amagi getting a main role and he is slaying it. Serious, loving, practical, insecure and full of memories.
Pay attention to ending credits and the progression of Ritzu’s drawing
Just watched it and I think for Korean BL it is very well done, in good quality Korean traditional drama style. It has some elements of My Beautiful Man- the phone number scene. Not as extreme though, vey mellow, high school drama. And also very Addicted Heroin like- two strong headed young men. Cinematography, camera, color grading, light, sound, acting on point.
Read the webtoon prior, 2 different vibes though, however I hope they stick to the story. Both main characters are well presented by the actors. Dialogs are well written and acted out professionally. Nothing seems under or overdone, no awkwardness as in some series. Good flow.
The scene in Health Center was magical: eye contact, mischief, curiosity and instant chemistry.
