Genre is comedy i don't think it will have sad ending. Its just like "Bring it on ghost" and "Oh my ghostess"…
well not really(they end it on a happy note), but it's pretty much a bittersweet ending, IMO. It was awesome till Episode 13, and then the writers started disobeying all the logic rules they had put in place. The whole point of Goblin pursuing the FL was because she could make him mortal if she pulled out a sword - he had suffered for like 800 years and just wanted to become a regular mortal. In the end, he's still immortal and FL will have to grow up, meet him, be with him, die, reincarnate, and repeat again and again until she finishes the all her lives. Though the drama stops at a point where they're happy together, you still know that in the end he's going to be as alone and unhappy as when he started the whole thing - and this time he doesn't even have the hope of becoming a mortal.
I'd still say, go for it. The drama is awesome. The highlight is the comedy, because the main cast are seriously good at that.
Its funny bcause he hate both human and ghost but drawn to the FL
I really don't think he actually hates people. He's just traumatized by the way the villagers turned on his grandpa so quickly after all he did to help them, and that's why he dislikes humans.
He says he wants to live alone on an island but I'm sure he'd hate life without his ghost employees. You can see that he thinks of them as his friends. His expression softened after he was done throwing a tantrum when FL drew the whole crew on the picture of the island. He can't stop his growing affection for her, and he does go the extra mile to help people once he decides to do so. No one asked him to buy all those baby toys and other necessary items for Minho's child or pay for the wife's hospital bills. I know the ghosts have a deal with him and that's why he helps them, but it took effort to go buy an outfit for Dong Chul's blind date - and the look on his face when Ah Reum got so excited over her game was pure brotherly affection. He also didn't push her away when she hugged him, and stopped himself from reminding her about the reset so she could just continue being happy.
He whines and complains but he's a big softie who loves all of them, I'm sure of it
I really wished they'd give her the power to see ghosts as well so she can be more /in/ the group. But I guess…
Maybe they'll give her the powers once they're established as friends or smn because rn the only thing keeping them together is his ability to see ghosts because that's the only reason she needs him... I like the fact that she's adapting to it though. She actually makes the effort to address/converse with them even though they're invisible to her... and it's funny to watch her force ML to be nice to them lol
Bruh, seeing the preview for Ep 5 with those two getting hot... how am I supposed to wait till next week?
IKR I have never been so ADDICTED to a drama preview before... watched it at least five times but I'll probably have to watch it a million times if I want to survive till Saturday
We don't know yet. She is special and highly favored by the gods/ equal to a shaman acc to that General Spirit...…
i think both situations are equally fun... I'd love it if she could see them but at the same time it's fun to watch her get used to being around invisible people. After overcoming her initial fear, it's so funny and intriguing to watch her try to communicate with them even though they're invisible to her, making ML her translator, and talking to the air. I find those scenes where she's looking in one direction while the ghost is somewhere else extremely funny, especially when ML turns her in the correct direction
Most characters would keep being scared or try to run away - it's nice to watch her give the ghosts the same importance and respect as living people... and make ML do the same XD
So is the FL gonna gain the ability to see ghosts later on in the drama? Or did someone mess up with the plot…
We don't know yet. She is special and highly favored by the gods/ equal to a shaman acc to that General Spirit... so either she'll get the powers later or the summary is just wrong
Also... nice to see you here lol I think we've watched quite a few dramas at the same time
The chemistry is really surprising me... even the little micro-expressions and actions have my heart fluttering - didn't expect them to hit it off so quickly but the chemistry is so easy-going! I love how ML always seems to get so ANNOYED over his growing attraction to her and he haaaaaates himself for melting every time she's around him... it's so funnyyyyy and cute
I hope we get happy ending but the way now it's foreshadowing about separation makes me alert that we should be…
ikr ugh it's starting to give me Goblin vibes and I really really hope they have a good ending... at least he doesn't seem to be taking the Noble Idiocy path in the Ep 5 preview...
No. Unfortunately she only gets worse. Her toxic relationship with Woo Jae is the only thing I hated in this drama.
watched this a long time ago but i think it's FL's baby. The ML and FL's baby interactions were so wholesome, so I think I was referring to that in the above comment
How trendy is Park Hae Jin as a magician? Is he convincing?
His "magic" shows are extremely cool when you watch it from the audience's perspective, but extremely funny when you can see the ghosts. He's really convincing in his role, though
Just watched the 2nd episode, I'm really enjoying it so far! I think I would have enjoyed it even more without…
The whole point of it is comedy... take out the comedy and there is no showtime - you'll have to find some drama that takes itself seriously, with proper mystery/fantasy tags aqnd no comedy
I'd still say, go for it. The drama is awesome. The highlight is the comedy, because the main cast are seriously good at that.

been sometime since I watched a cool on the outside but extremely petty ML - he's so funny... reminds me of JCW in Suspicious Partner
