I agree. I would have thrown the drama if it was 41-year old YG(I'm sure he would give up or do some sort of noble idotic nonsense), but an additional character will be a good plot driver for 22-year old YG. He really needs a push, IMO.

How is it not cute when it's not a noona romance? I thought they were adorable even when he was 41 in his head.

I don't feel malice or hatred when I say I'm skeptical of Im Soo Hyang carrying this role. I've always thought her acting was pretty stiff and she has a very low range of expressions. I survived My ID because I didn't really like ML either, but I had to stop watching When I was the Most Beautiful.

I'll watch this one because I really miss So Ji Sub on my screen. I hope Doctor Lawyer has minimal to no romance, but I'll be very glad if ISH surprises me with her skills.

Yes, all mothers are different. Nowhere does it say that she's a symbol for all mothers. It also doesn't say anywhere that a woman's purpose is having a baby. So many people have died for others, sometimes even strangers. Lots of men have died protecting their families. Other men have forced themselves to keep working in near-death conditions in order to provide for their families. Are you going to say that the sole purpose of a man is to protect and provide, then? And that he is also an animal? Lots of soldiers have died protecting their country. So anyone who wants to sacrifice themselves for another is equated to an animal? This mother in this particular drama wanted to sacrifice herself. Did she ever say "If you don't die for your child, you're not a mother"?

Watch some other drama if it triggers you. There are definitely dramas out there depicting FLs who chose to have their own lives.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but South Korea and China also have extremely difficult education regimes. There is HUGE competition to get into one of the SKY colleges, and SK literally bans all construction work and stops planes from landing on the main exam day. So I doubt the reason is a harsh education system.

But you're right about the disciplining of students playing a part in stopping bad behavior.

I completed my schooling in two schools in South India and one in North India(Mumbai)... I haven't seen any serious bullying happening, either. If the boys fight, they do so with their own friends. I've never seen someone pick on or beat up someone weaker than they are. Especially in Mumbai, I had classmates from all over India, so there was enough scope for discrimination and bullying but it never happened. I wonder what the reason is...
Is it because kids are genuinely scared of the consequences if they bully someone? Or is it because everyone is more easygoing? Or is it because there are lots of students who readily snitch? Or is it the very very low tolerance for violence most schools have?

If I was a psycho witch intent on making a guy fall in love with me so I could be with my son, who I abandoned on the road a few years ago 🙄 I still would try to gain the favor of the children FIRST. They are literally the closest people to YG's heart. Even amnesiac YG is starting to take notice of DD because the kids love her so much! SR is brainless.

I totally agree. Another reason why I don't want her to leave is Jae Ni and Se Chan... poor kids it's not like they CHOSE to be YG's biological children! Sa Ra is disgusting.

Actually, I don't want her out of that house. I want her to assert herself and STOP taking their nonsense. I'm not asking her to take revenge on them. She doesn't even have to verbally abuse them. I just want her to let them know she is not a doormat and stand up for herself. She doesn't have to be rude to do that. You can be a kind, polite person, and still not be a doormat. What can those witches do? They're not her bosses. She's answerable only to YG in that house and it's about time she realizes it.

The witches are the ones who don't belong in that house. How do they help, anyway? I only see DD and Yeo Ju actually doing their jobs.

Hyun Woo really can act, though... his whole demeanor has changed. He is not our elegant prince anymore, and there's a very boyish, youthful look in his eyes... it's so cool to see and observe the changes in him! Even the little things... the way he just squats on the ground with DD, the way he's sprawled on the sofa playing video games, the way he walks... He's literally changed the way he carries himself!

It's like Se Jong's love is a prize she wants to win. I hate how she just disregards the other two. It's infuriating to watch.

well not really... weekend dramas usually have an average of 20-25% viewership because they're aimed at the family/older audiences.

I was going to feel bad for DD, but then it just keeps frustrating me — WHERE did that badass who fought Jae Ni's bullies go? And how can she believe anything that comes out from those witches' mouths when she clearly knows they lie a lot and don't like her?? I can't feel too much pity for this character.

I actually want to agree with you! Though I did fast-forward through most of Ep 18, I'm not ready to leave the drama. There was definitely a spark between YG and DD at the end of the episode. Mi Rim and Jun Ho are also adorable, and I don't want to leave them.

I also feel sooooo bad for Jae Ni and Se Chan... with Sa Ra in the house, there's going to be SO much blatant favoritism -_-
