Your article convinced me to watch this one!!^^ One tiny correction, though... under the "Acting of Seasoned Actors" section, you wrote "Joe Chen" instead of "Joe Cheng." Joe Chen is the name of another veteran Taiwanese actress, who has also been acting since the 2000s. I got confused for a while 😅
I am torn by this. On the one hand, I like to see a very unfiltered, simp YG. But it is also painful to see SaRa's…
I totally agree. Another reason why I don't want her to leave is Jae Ni and Se Chan... poor kids it's not like they CHOSE to be YG's biological children! Sa Ra is disgusting.

Actually, I don't want her out of that house. I want her to assert herself and STOP taking their nonsense. I'm not asking her to take revenge on them. She doesn't even have to verbally abuse them. I just want her to let them know she is not a doormat and stand up for herself. She doesn't have to be rude to do that. You can be a kind, polite person, and still not be a doormat. What can those witches do? They're not her bosses. She's answerable only to YG in that house and it's about time she realizes it.
The witches are the ones who don't belong in that house. How do they help, anyway? I only see DD and Yeo Ju actually doing their jobs.
Hyun Woo really can act, though... his whole demeanor has changed. He is not our elegant prince anymore, and there's a very boyish, youthful look in his eyes... it's so cool to see and observe the changes in him! Even the little things... the way he just squats on the ground with DD, the way he's sprawled on the sofa playing video games, the way he walks... He's literally changed the way he carries himself!

I was going to feel bad for DD, but then it just keeps frustrating me — WHERE did that badass who fought Jae Ni's bullies go? And how can she believe anything that comes out from those witches' mouths when she clearly knows they lie a lot and don't like her?? I can't feel too much pity for this character.
I feel so out of place coming here and seeing everyone so mad and planning to drop the show when I'm lowkey very…
I actually want to agree with you! Though I did fast-forward through most of Ep 18, I'm not ready to leave the drama. There was definitely a spark between YG and DD at the end of the episode. Mi Rim and Jun Ho are also adorable, and I don't want to leave them.
I also feel sooooo bad for Jae Ni and Se Chan... with Sa Ra in the house, there's going to be SO much blatant favoritism -_-
Honestly, even though the ahjummas are AH-NNOY-ING and have WAYYYY too much screen time, it's kinda interesting(?) to watch them pull each other down... each person is working for their own/their daughter's benefit. So it becomes a bully-bullying-another-bully sort of situation. All of them are crazy Mama Bears. It's intriguing to see the way their minds work. See how Sa Ra's mom was totally on board with everything she did until she noticed that SR was becoming genuinely unstable and obsessive. They aren't devoid of hearts. They're just too stupid to see that they're hurting others and themselves by the dumb things they do. I'm hoping the writers flesh the characters out properly.
So agree...but those meddlesome, judgmental parents though! Itsuki's letter to Kawana just did me in 😪. Did…
I watched the drama. It was cute, and there were some things I liked more, but overall, I think I like the movie more. Since the drama writers had more time, they added a lot of details about living with/as a paraplegic. But I felt that they spent too many episodes on the "forbidden-love" and separations plotlines. I wanted to see their lives TOGETHER, not them constantly trying to be together.
I can't really decide which ML I like more because both were really amazing characters. I love their never-give-up attitudes towards all the obstacles in their lives. Drama ML's expressions tugged at my heart, and he has this one vulnerable expression that never fails to turn me into a crying mess. The drama FL was a better actor than the movie FL, IMO. Another good thing about the drama was that there are two characters with leg-related disabilities. ML is mature and accepting, hiding everything inside, while the other guy is younger, immature, hotheaded, and explodes easily. You get to see life from both their perspectives.
The father-in-law/son-in-law relationship was explored more. It was slightly more dramatic, but it was more satisfying to watch. There's one OST in the drama that I really, really liked.
It's a weekend drama. Weekend dramas are different from the usual k-dramas. They usually have 50+ episodes and many characters. It is like a Korean soap opera/telenovela.
Another cliche plot line....but I think the writers will surprise us with the direction they take it. I already…
I really wish they didn't start her plot arc with Cha Gun... I want to see her suffer, not act like an entitled selfish bratty witch who turns into a pitiful entitled obsessive drunkard as soon as her evil plans go awry. What a psycho... I can't root for her and Cha Gun until she reaally changes

the problem is... his best friend lives far away, and YG never told him WHO he was dating(though he did say something about the huge age gap). The housekeeper Yeo Ju still thinks he and Sa Ra were having a lovers' quarrel when she saw them arguing and SR had hugged him, too. The step-mom lives and SR lived in the house. So it's quite believable if they say that he had a relationship with SR. His relationship with DD was a total secret.
The only variable here is Cha Gun, who knows that SR was rejected. Se Ryeon and Anna Kim will take DD's side, but they can't really show proof that he dated DD. The best friend also knows that YG was dating someone much younger than him so he might be able to piece the puzzle...
All in all, I like the new developments. I'm interested in seeing where this goes.
