I don't think I have ever finished a xianxia before. I can feel the love between the leads that's why I was able to finish it. I would have marked it 9/10 but tweety bird's voice is ruining the best / tender moments. 8/10, I think is fair. Def better than LoveLessTG!

Yes! It feels demeaning, squeaking like that. My opinion only, but it would have been 10x better if she acted normally. It feels weird that a part of me cringe (with eye rolls to high heavens) and thrills at the same time when the leads are romantic.

I heard she dubbed it herself. Nothing against the looks of the FL. I just wish, she would use her normal speaking voice. I doubt, the squeaky, childish, immature voice she is using in the series is her normal everyday voice.

I totally agree! That's why I'm getting L&R vibes. With all the cdramas that I have watched, I don't remember finishing a xianxia. Most of the reason was always the FL (voice, immaturity, jealousy, breakup, betrayal, etc).
I have always been hopeful that because of the modern age we're living in, the producers would somehow evolve and think that Women (ordinary woman) do not talk and act like that!

Thanks for the reply. Oh god no!!! Damn those cdrama producers! Why do they always portray xianxia/fantasy FLs as those squeaky childish beings. They should move forward. Nobody I know, loves those kind of characters.
