I agree, its PRIDE!!! Even before they were married, the Emperor and to an extent, the Dowager were very tolerant of her behavior. She talks right back at them. Some of her actions have a hidden agenda. What the Emperor only wants from her is to be honest to him. At some point, she has to relent. She has to give her husband some face, he is Emperor! I honestly don't know what's the hold out, except for her pride.

Obviously, they love each other, why suffer and hurt each other unnecessarily??? A lot of their problems could be solved in minutes if they are just honest to each other!

And that's it! Like watching a robot, no character development. 1 emotion/tone throughout the series. Yes they are married but you barely get to see their private moments or at home. Why make them a couple, if one would just be selling houses? Instead you get to watch insignificant stories about the guests which is a waste. Also, at times you feel that she meddles too much in private affairs just to have a sale, makes you wonder if she has any ethics.
True, its the same as the first season with less appealing characters (Yoichi & Yukari; I abhor lazy people). There is no romance, no sweetness, no drama, not as funny as the 1st season, you exactly would know what would happen at the end of every episode.

The screaming and the GO's feels more like bullying and looked forced. Poor Yashiro, he looks more inept this season and his marriage is treated like a marriage of convenience by Sanchi. Not sure if any marriage will last with that kind of attitude.

Honestly, I thought the romantic relationship between the leads are a bit forced and not necessary to the story. It was more of platonic than romance. It would have been better if Ishino stayed and ends up with Sawatari.
