I have never skipped a series so much! Too much jealousy! I am so frustrated about almost every character except for Dong Dong and Qing An. I thought when the leads are married, all of the schemes would stop but it would still continue until the end.
I didn't realized it, but I have rated both RFY and Blooms of Ruyi Pavillion at 6.5. There is something about the portrayal of the FL that sometimes I would really say she's a selfish, whiny, privileged "princess". Every thing she does is for herself. Sadly, with the FLs portrayal the ML seems like a kept man, no balls. That is why she keep repeating her mistakes. Acting like a brat! Not even the good looks of both the MLs can save this.
Lastly, why does Marius Wang always pick the jealous, douchebag type? In 3 of his dramas (untamed, sword dynasty and this) that I saw, he's always someone that I Ioathe.
I really want to watch this, but can anyone tell me, did any of the leads die? I don't want to invest a lot of time, then suddenly most of the leads will die. Don't mind spoilers. Thanks!

I agree! After Jun Jiu Ling, I don't know what to watch next. I'm on Ep4 and the FL's lead face is as white as a vampire! So cringe! I think I'm just hanging on for the ML.
I love JJL! She should be the model for historical FLs. Intelligent, strong, courageous and beautiful. None of those cutesy voice even on tender moments. No wonder 4 men falls for her. She would be perfect if she knows a little kung fu and kicked some a**, but that's just nitpicking.
From the getgo, I was rooting for JJL and ZZ. I love how they help/discover each other. But boy, I'm a little torn for NYZ (just gorgeous) and FCY (so sweet). Hope they find somebody like JJL.

Update: With just ep1, I think she was rescued 2-3x already! I hate damsels in distress!
