You know you just finished watching a great show when you're feeling a tremendous sense of loss afterwards....and do i feel the void right now.
It's not perfect, but DT. Appledog's Time is the best modern C-drama i've seen in a long time, if not ever. Strong mature couple, minimum number of misunderstanding (more like once, and quickly resolved), adorable side characters, friendship and family, and the chemistry, OMG the chemistry, i've lost count of how many kisses they've shared.
Really wish Hu Yi Tian and Li Yi Tong will get together in another project.

Can someome pls clarify me this that how come grunt changed from GGS 1 to GGS2 amd ai qing...i watching GGS 1…
Because this drama is not a direct sequel, but a spin off. The time line between GGS1 and 2 are parallel, with GGS2 plot happen in the past, present, and future of GGS1.
I don't know why they change the actor that played Grunt, but they change Ai Qing probably because Ai Qing in GGS1 look so much older than Wu Bai / DT, whilst in the novel, they only had about 3 years of age difference, which actually consistent with the actors real age.
The game is also changed. In the novel it's about moba, starcraft, and shooter, while GGS1 about cybersecurity, and GGS2 about robot wars.
The drama source come from 3 novel book by Mo Bao Fei Bao. GGS2 is mostly an adaptation of book 1 and 2 with Ai Qing / Appledog as the MC, while GGS1 actualy more of an adaptation of book 3 (which is a spin off of book 1 and 2) with Han Shang Yan as the MC.
So there won't be much of Han Shang Yang and Tong Nian, because they're a background character in this series. They do sometimes mentioned and will show up occasionally.
So to enjoy this series, it will be best for you to start this drama with a fresh perspective detach from GGS1. Because i personally enjoyed this series much more than GGS1 as a lot of other people in this forum.
Hope this help, and please correct me if i'm wrong with any information.
Wow, i'm really liking this one. Started with low expectation because i didn't really like GGS1, and i'm a big Yang Zi fan, but that show just not for me. But to my surprise, this drama hit all the right notes for me. My only gripe is that i'm starting too early. Now it's a torment waiting for new episodes. I've been trying to fill the void by watching the trailers and behind the scenes, lol..

I like this one. At first, i'm really disappointed with the production quality for a ZLY comeback series. It still bad till the end of the series bar a few scene but i've seen worse.
The action scene imo quite decent, reminded me of past wuxia drama before all the cgi.
Overall decent acting, ZLY and WYB were good with excellent chemistry.
Unfortunately, only the the main lead scene and storyline that hook me. Other character stories just not interesting enough for me, so the skip-watch. It was actually not bad, but the execution was meh at best. Again, i blame the production for this. Actually, i blame the production for most of the show shortcoming.
I will rewatch this if only for ZLY and WYB scene.

Can you recommend more lakorns where the main couple has healthy relationship and possibly less frustrating??
Unfortunately, i really couldn't remember any other lakorn with the same vibe. So these titles probably fall into "maybe" category:
Friend Zone (Movie)
Sampatan Hua Jai
Tieng Narng Mai
The Crown Princess (Master Edition)
Chart Suer Pun Mungkorn
Yuttakarn Prab Nang Marn
Nai Keun Nao Sang Dao Yung Oun
Soot Sanaeha

Hope this help..

I like it. It's the usual daily format with the twisted villain who wreak havoc until the last couple episode and annoying side character. But the main couple just so endearing and maybe because of the disease plot, the audience can feel the ML and FL strong love for each other.
Acting wise, i thought Shin Go Eun was brilliant as the FL, others were decent, with a strong performance from the second male lead. I'm torn about the villain acting, often time i thought she was brilliant, but sometimes i just laugh at her "theatrical" act.
Anyway, i enjoyed the drama, probably will rewatch even if only for the main couple scenes.
Oh, and i liked the OST.

It's a needle in a haystack, lol. Off the top of my head, maybe Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat, Padiwaradda, or Nee Ruk Nai Krong Fai

My favorite lakorn as of now. I've watch most of the "hit" titles, and although the story in this one may not be in the top 5 lakorn, it's definitely the only one that i'll watch again over and over again.

There's still the same old lakorn cliche in this one, i.e. evil villain, annoying shreaking side character, unbelievable plot, etc, but the leads just awesome. Everytime they both on the same sceen, i just keep on smiling and giggling like a little girl.

What i really like is that the leads had a really healty relationship. Yes, at the beginning the FL had her trust issue, but it was quickly resolved. And most importantly, they talk to each other, not much of usual unnecessary misunderstanding.

The ML was the perfect fit for FL. No abuse, no "i love you, you must love me" attitude, and there's no bad blood between them.

But the down side was the villain, what a creep, and everything easily forgiven in the end, like WTF ?!
Some character just disappearing and also the ending just a little bit too "unicorn in the rainbow with a ribbon bow".

Still, i recommend this lakorn strongly, especially after all the stress from those abusive ML from other lakorn out there...cough...Khluen Chiwit...cough..
