A Well-Executed Workplace Drama
I’m not familiar with the manga, so I can’t say how closely this adaptation follows the source material. That said, the acting was good enough to effectively convey what the characters were feeling.
Watching this while on a school break made the workplace pressure hit harder. The constant stress of needing to show progress and deliver results felt intense, and it honestly worked as a reminder that pressure doesn’t stop after school—it just shifts into work life, which made those moments feel very relatable.
It was also oddly satisfying to watch the antagonist get humiliated, and those moments added some much-needed humor. The ending was especially good for me. I was happy that everyone got a proper conclusion, though part of me still hoped the final scene would lean more toward reconciliation—with proper blessing and permission involved.
