Strong Concept, Mixed Execution
Honestly, the story itself was good and had a lot of potential. I really enjoyed the heavy focus on guns, and seeing the actor who played Moon Baek here was interesting, especially since I still haven’t managed to finish Somebody. The concept is strong, but while the series centers clearly on the use of firearms, I found myself wishing it explored the individual characters more. That part felt lacking, and several moments left me unsatisfied because of that.
I love the cruelty of humans tho. It felt satisfying when they pull the trigger because they are on their limit. But then I didn’t like the ending. There were many things I wanted more from, but the story seemed more interested in the theme than in fully developing the people behind it.
This was recommended by a schoolmate after I asked for something in the crime or horror genre, and while it mostly fit what I was looking for, I wasn’t impressed with the male lead’s acting. It felt bland and didn’t match the intensity the story needed.
