Interesting Stories, Just Lacking Bite

It delivers episode-by-episode storylines that are genuinely creative and engaging. Each one carries a clear message, and it’s easy to appreciate the lessons behind them. The ideas are strong, and the storytelling keeps things interesting throughout. The SFX also stands out—it adds a polished touch that helps elevate the overall viewing experience.

That said, it doesn’t quite hit as hard as expected. I found myself wanting something more intense, more unsettling—something that really pushes the edge. While the show seems to aim for tension and impact, it leans more into drama than true thriller territory. Since it’s labeled as a drama, that shift makes sense, but it can still feel a bit underwhelming if you’re expecting something darker.

Trying not to compare it to the original helps, especially since this feels like a different take or universe. On its own, it works—but the tone might catch you off guard. At times, it oddly feels like a slightly gruesome version of Nanny McPhee, which is… not something I expected to say.

Still, it’s worth watching for the concepts and messages alone—just don’t go in expecting something too disturbing or intense.
