if i’m being completely honest, i was a bit disappointed with their kiss scene in ep 11. DON’T GET ME WRONG, it was an amzing confession and the kiss was just icing on the cake. the little awkwardness after was hilarious, natural and perfect for how their characters are. but i noticed my girl seok-ryu didn’t really “kiss him back”. like she accepted it and everything (confessing is REALLY hard, ESP when it’s a longtime close friend), but i wanted to see her WANTTT it - if that makes sense ?
but in ep 12, i loved that she asked him to go to her room to “read the princess books” 👀even though their friends, they’re dating now, so the invitation to to the room is very different (imo anyways). AND THENNNNN her giving him permission to “do bad deeds” (AHAHAHAHA i died at that), putting her arms around him, turning the lights off and pulling his collar AHHHHHHHHHH ! it was the confirmation both seung-hyo and i needed, that she genuinely likes him back 🤭
sad that this kdrama is nearly over because watching it ongoing has been worth the wait !

Sorry for replying so late but I definitely agree with you. I guess I was just frustrated from a spectator’s pov, because they so clearly like each other. But as you said, the poor guy is confused, helpless and in pain. Because the mixed signals would probably make me act worse than he did irl. I think he handled the situation perfectly. Drawing that line and helping her realise that she wants to be with him.
If you put yourself in his shoes you will get to understand him, he is kinda walking on eggshells now regarding…
Ok real late (still kinda working on how this app works) but I take back my words and 100% agree with you. She kept sending him signs that she has feelings for him, only to then push him away. He was already tryna respect the line that they have but she was confusing him and making it harder for him to do anything, really. The anger was not really meant to be directed at her (thought it appeared like that), but rather on himself and his situation. After all, he’s slowly realising that he’s still in love with her - even though they spent years apart. It’s very complicated but very realistic and haein does a wonderful job portraying it all.
