I'm getting hell for writing this comment before the show's completion, please note I have written this to encourage people to watch it and this review is only till episode 12 and the ending has no bearing on my opinion thus far, it only speaks of my experiences until episode 12.
I usually do not write comments, I am never really sure what to say but as this Drama does not have a review and I think it deserves one....here goes:
1. Story: It is a Rom Com with a love triangle with the usual characters, the rich, popular smart, good looking main lead. The hardworking, poor, not very attractive, weak female lead. The good looking, troubled, incredibly sweet second lead and of course he has a history with the main lead.
What makes it different?
The character growth is done beautifully, the characters grow into beautiful tree dimensions ones in the flow of the drama and soon, you will start to empathize and love every one of them. You can see the female lead stand up for herself. That the male lead is not so perfect after all and does not get everything right. I like that the leads have to work on their relationship and they deal with real issues and try to do it together, open up and accept the other for what the other really is. One thing I must note about this drama is, It flows very smoothly. There is a grey element about everyone that I really like!
2. Acting/Cast: The acting is good, I personally feel the roles are not very challenging so I won’t say more. But the characters do fit into their roles pretty well.
3. Music: It pretty and lively. Nothing outstanding, I say this because I usually download the songs in the dramas while watching it and remember the drama with the music. Nothing really stood out in this drama.
4. Why should you watch it?
If you like the following I would recommend that you watch it:
- A Romantic comedy
- Light but nice plot
- Rich and likable characters who are grey and not completely black or white
- Stories with a slight slice of life touch.
