Why is this an important must see lakorn? Because the main male lead is one of the only Thai main leads who can take his shirt off and stand next to a Korean main lead. Usually it is the second Thai leads like Deaw Aroonwattanakul *always a bridesmaid , never a bride* that have a droolable chest. BUT Aum has such a hot body unlike one of my fav Thai guys who needs to desperately do a work out, I am not saying any names but his initials are James Jirayu. I love James but after you see Aum, you realize what separates the men from the boys. I have been waiting...well as long as everybody and Tomorrow, it me and AUM!!! too too excited.

I am only on episode 5 but I feel like I am not watching the lakorn that you are talking about. The male lead is so deceitful. He is going to let the man who raised him marry a woman that loves him. He could have told Wongwat that to Penny he is just a trophy (hey dude she showed me a picture of you two in bed together), but no he is just a jerk. Lucky is very self-serving.
The best part of the drama is the description of it on Dramanice. The first sentence is the winner of most incomprehensible summary. It is a not-to-be-missed sentence.

Tribes and Empires was epic. My favorite guy was the uncle. He was a step ahead of everyone everytime. I loved it when the guy tried to give him back the money because he was to scared to go through with the plan and the uncle looked at him quietly for a minute and stabbed him in the hand with the pen knife saying, "And you are not scared of me!' AND it was 75..75 hours of my life. Every once in a while I google Tribes and Empires 2...just in hope. Although I know that ship has sailed. You know what I thought was also funny is that Shofeng Heye was dirty for al most the whole drama. But still looking good:)????

Nirvana on Fire is good EXCEPT it does not have a happy ending! The Eternal Love; TMOPB (in depth serious story); Oh My General (really great dances , especially the first dance and the last dance, and excellent female lead) ; Oh My Emperor( the female lead is funny); Lost Love in Times; Love through a Millennium ; Perfect Couple (funny); Jade Palace Lockheart (I don't remember it BUT it has a happy ending); Cuo Dian Yuan Yang ; The Flame's Daughter (Staring Broody McBroodypants Vin Zhang); My bratty Princess; The Journey of the Flower (I have not seen it, but I think the ending is happy). Also Heavy Sweetness Ash-like Love, which i just finished. Watch it on 4udrama as the commentators are on fire.
HOWEVER I do want to say that Nirvana on Fire is beautiful. Every scene is like a painting, for sheer beauty the only thing close, is my favorite for cinematography and costumes is Tribes and Empires (think Game of thrones) no ending at all....but man the journey is beautiful. I try to ONLY watch happy endings, so I really rely on my spoiling friends here at MDL.

I didn't really start paying attention until episode 48, but 55 is when I had to give my long-assed comment! Daria Fo biggest whiner "Effing me gently " funniest.
Two reason to watch Ashes 1. Often MC channels Gong Yu. Their eyes asre so much alike I kept wondering what drama I had seen Deng Lun in before (I hadn't).Then it struck me, he looks like Gong Yu with long hair. Also they both have that "yes I am smiling at you, but inside I am really smiling" vibe,
2. The complex, very through, sometimes acrimonous discussion concerning second lead Nightynight on 4udrama. The commenters not content with just expressing their own opinions try to control and limit other's expressions by ridicule, imtimidation and (if you can belive it) guilt:
At one time many of them accused the other side of personnally blocking and somehow deleting their comments ( they got real righteous about it ) and then when they were accused back, they stated that only the moderators could delete and block ( I confess, I went back to the original diss, cuz I was like huh?? but I thought you said...). One commenter in a long diatribe whinned at another commenter that she was ruining the comment arena with such long comments, that she was having trouble going to the commentary section, because then she would have it read a commentary she did not agree with and it was depressing ( I thought, LAWD save us from weak-assed people and then I became more charitable and thought 'hey they have drugs for that nowadays..she should seek help'. Another whinned about getting to many notifications from the comment section( apparently she cannot turn off the notifications, because then she would not get the notifications...hmm). One commenter even complianed that another commenter was too dominate and it was upsetting her ( Ithought, ohh poor baby ,yes ,she is more articulate than you..boo hoo it must hurt), and she also didn't like her leaving comments about other dramas on other sites (I was like WTH, get a life stalker!). My favorite were the commenters who accused other commenters of being too too passionate and told them that they should chill, not realizing that when or if you have to tell someone else to chill you are obviously not chill yourself ( I just wanted to say, white folks plz learn what the Black slang you have appropiated means BEFORE you start using it....but of course I am just too chill to bother saying that). Ya'll let me tell you that the Passive-Agreesiveness was in full swing,as comments and insults of intellect were accompanied by smiley faced emojis or the ubicqudiuos LOL. I personnally laughed more at the commentary than the drama, it was makjang to the max.
3. 4udramas hilariously vivid poetic commentents: Nightynight opining about brother Goldenboy reduced to Marsha, Marsha, Marsha. and the comment " a ticket to his genitals" were my favs. 4. There should be a drinking game were everytime TMOPB is invoked you have to drink a shot (4u drama comments) 5. This drama had excellents twists and turns.
