Both these dramas have a very similar feel. The pacing is very similar. Both dramas have alumni gatherings and chat groups to spread information. Both dramas have information on technology and business in China. There are scenes that are very familiar in colour and tone in both dramas. The romance in both dramas is healthy and nontoxic.

Both dramas feature a male lead that falls in love at first sight. Both dramas have a male lead that has been through trauma and was lost and angry for a bit before they found their path again. A female lead in both dramas it’s calm and intelligent and independent. The stories both have supporting characters that are well developed. The piercings are similar and the main romance is straightforward and healthy.

Some of the things I enjoyed in both including familiar characters:
-The warrior - both dramas have a silent type warrior/bodyguard that stole the show
-Crown Prince has a sister and they have a romance - very different scenarios but the character is there
-Crown Prince' Eunuch has a similar character and relationship with the Crown Prince into both dramas - I loved it.
-The Crown Prince - both dramas have a crown prince/king who falls hard and has to fight to hold on to the one they love
-the politics
-METS is darker and has other fantasy elements while i always thought of LITM as a lighter version of a similar story

Both these dramas show the male lead as a military leader who is part of the imperial family. Both MLs start off suspicious of the female lead and stays by their side to find out information. In both dramas, the male lead establishes living arrangements that keeps them close to the female lead. In Both leads are smart and work almost independently but still together. They both have different agendas but have respect for the choices of the other. In both dramas the ML has a hidden identity from the FL - at least in first part of drama.

If you have watched Love Me Love my voice this is a drama that gives a similar vibe and would ease the “missing “ of that drama.
The ML of both dramas are in the medical field professionally and have a secret artistic famous persona
The FL in both dramas is a fan of the ML’s alter ego and gets to know him in both personas.
Their relationship is low-angst in City of Romanc but Love Me Love My Voice. has zero angst.
If you watched City of Romance and enjoyed it first - go - run. - watch Love Me Love My Voice. There is no traumatic childhood aspect but the music takes it over the top.

Both dramas have a similar feel and pacing. Both have a strong FL that is used and discarded by husband/fiancée and then fights to rebuild a life that is not dependent on others. Along the way , both FLs create a support structure and community with other women. MLs are almost adjacent characters put supportive and romance is slow.
