I don't think it´s possible to have the 3 of them, cuz the novel only has two protagonists: the female and the male lead. All the other characters are secondary and barely have a storyline. Anyways, rumor has it that the leads will be announced at the Tencent event on August 2.

Sometimes we only get confirmation when they start shooting the drama, so everything can change before that. But yeah I'm keeping my fingers crossed, cuz I really want to see Yang Yang as Yu Tu! Good to know it's not just me! I always think "but there're only 4 episodes left, why not finish it?", but I've rarely gone back.... Maybe I should start your 4th stage with those ones.
I drop dramas a lot, cuz there're too many that I want to watch but I don't have enough time for them. So in the beginning I used to hesitate to drop, but now I don't anymore.... Also I have a bad habit of dropping kdramas around ep 12 (the ones that have 16 episodes). Don't know why.... that time should be when the drama is going to the climax, but I suddenly lose interest. And sometimes I don't drop them but yeah I skip a lot. I usually don't have patience for secondary couples, so I tend do skip scenes that have only them.

I also felt the same when I was reading the novel. YY and Reba seem perfect for the roles of Yu Tu and Jing Jing. I'm trying to lower my expectations in case they´re not doing it after all, but it's been really hard.
