"In a time when dreams seem out of reach, a teen fencer pursues big ambitions and meets a hardworking young man…
Netflix changed the synopsis later on, cuz when it was in the "soon" category my Netflix clearly wrote that they fell in love when they were 25 and 21. Also in the Netflix page, this drama is classified as "romantic series for TV" and when they introduce the actors in the drama it says "a drama about love and youth".
Ep 16 synopsis “they loved each other so passionately & depended on each other but they broke up. in ep 16,…
This synopsis actually gives me hope that they will end together after the break up. You don't give away the ending of a show/movie/book in a synopsis. And the synopsis of ep15 made me think they break up at the end of ep15 (maybe when they´re still 2420), so they start ep 16 broken up and get together later in the episode.
Reading this feels like I have watched another show, The way I see Yi Jin is the opposite of what you wrote. He…
I disagree. I think their emotional state is aligned. That's why I find it hard to believe how the show will make them grow apart in just two episodes. Their romance was a slow burn, we've barely seen them as a couple and the one problem (reporter x athlete) that the story might have been foreshadowing happened with Yu Rim instead of with Hee Do. The only thing I could see breaking them up is "the times", but then their growing apart would happen off screen cuz it'd be through the years.
I feel heartbroken to say this but I've kind of accepted that Yijin and Hee Do won't be OTP. Although up until…
Reading this feels like I have watched another show, The way I see Yi Jin is the opposite of what you wrote. He prioritized his feelings for Hee Do when he knew he should've waited until he changed departments. Yes, he was unsure but in the end he chose Hee Do. And it's impossible to compare him to Ji Woong, Yi Jin has a lot of baggage while Ji Woong has almost none.
yes it doesnt make sense if somehow they just casually introduce HeeDo's husband in the last 2 episodes. I dont…
If Hee Do and Yi Jin doesn't end up together, I don't think the show will introduce Mr. Kim. The last ep will just be mainly the past days and the last minutes will wrap some of the present day, but it'll be left to the viewers to wonder who Mr. Kim is, cuz he's not important to the story that was being told through the 16 episodes.
So I guess we're headed for a La La Land-esque ending. I hope I'm wrong though...
I think so too... Though I don't want that because that's nothing original, I prefer it than having them still pining for each other even though they're married to someone else.
honestly this feels like the most organic and most "coming of age" ending that they could possibly do. It's so…
I think this ending would've worked great if there were no present day scenes. Now with the present day scenes, it just looks like a Korean youth version of La la land.
I think so as well. This show isn't a melodrama. Even with all the struggles and sadness, most, if not all, episodes (I have to rewatch to be sure) ended in a high note. I know that, for viewers that want Hee Do and Yi Jin together in the end (like me), them being separated might feel sad, but I'm sure that if the writer chooses that ending she'll show them having happy lives.
Because it is mostly female focused, male leads are there mostly as support to their storiesband also the the…
I agree. I´m still waiting for something special to happen to them at 2521 though. The show and Hee Do's store can't have that name if nothing special and happy happens in that age.
I think there's a brief touch of the lips when they're in their hate/love phase (and a kiss in a cut scene). But no, there's no actual kiss, even when they're together.
can someone recommend me a thai drama staring with him?I've watched Kluen Cheewit years ago and I still couldn't…
After Kluen Cheewit, my fav drama of Mark is My Forever Sunshine. FL is annoying in the beginning, but she and Mark's character have great character growth.
Yang Yang always plays perfect people and its tiring and annoying at the same time.
But I think the great thing about Yu Tu (Yang Yang's character) is that he's not perfect. He's the mvp of the Yamg because his character is the one that has to grow through the story, while Jingjing is already amazing since the beginning. He's very intelligent but life has showed to him that that doesn't amount to being successful, at least in the eyes of the general society. It's pretty interesting to see how reality made him humble and he has to regain his self in the drama.
No other news of Mark's next lakorn?
