I don't think that she isn't important to the plot, cuz otherwise they wouldn't even bother to include a fiancé. My guess is that the arranged marriage will have a plot connection to Tae Oh; he even pointed that out in the characters chart.
Another thing is that this drama is fast paced and doesn't include unnecessary story. Notice that things that happened 10 years ago have had significant impact in the present day (Tae Oh's report, the Milton company), but one of the things that hasn't had an impact yet is Hee Joo.

It was on Hulu site, but I think it was a mistake, cuz it was spoilery and they deleted it. You can find it in twitter accounts that took a screenshot. But basically it is:
- ep 5: someone tries to kill Tae Oh;
- ep 6: Tae Oh is after the person who tried to kill him;
- ep 7: Tae Oh is arrested as a suspect for murder (he lost his memory, so he doesn't know what happened);
- ep 8: Tae Oh is sentenced to death, but he is still trying to find out what happened.

Hulu had released the synopsis of eps 5-8,

Tae Oh will be framed for murder and be arrested in ep 7.

Hulu has already spoiled who ends up in jail haha

But we know the kiss happens either in ep 5 or 6 cuz, in the previews for these eps, it shows someone taking a picture of them kissing and then In Ha burning the pic.

It was in ep 02 when they’re talking in the library and In Ha was listening hidden behind the drapery.

I think it was in ep 01 that he told In Ha that the guy in prison isn't his father.

Just adding that I don't think that she approached them necessarily with second intentions. It's only after she was attacked that she realized she had to change the course of her life and the opportunity for that was right in front of her, between Tae Oh and In Ha.

I think that, when she approached Tae Oh in the vending machine, she had already observed him in college/neighborhood and knew he was friends with a rich guy, ie In Ha. So after she met both of them, she evaluated which one she thought had a better chance to give her a wealthy future. Although I think her choice was wrong, because Tae Oh is clearly the mastermind behind everything and In Ha wouldn't be able to do 1% of what he did, maybe she chose In Ha cuz he's easier for her to manipulate and even if the plan didn't work out he was already rich enough.
I'm shipping Tae Oh with Hee Jo, but I know that is very hard for them to end up together, though it happens sometimes (I heard Itawoen had this type of ending). But I do think that they'll be in some sort of a relationship during the show.

I don't think it's just about being powerful, because he has shown he's intelligent enough to achieve it on his own. So I think he has something personal against Kangoh/the chairman/Kang family. In ep01 when he went to look at their house, I don't think it was just a coincidence, but he was already planning something.

Yes, she did go back and he ignored her, which showed how he’s more sure of what he wants and how she’s fickle. That’s why I think he’d be too stupid (which he’s not) if he ever trusted her.

If it has anything interesting, could you please translate Tae Oh’s characters chart on his window? Especially the part that has Hee Jo’s pic.

Absolutely! She’d probably even make me root for Hyewon more than any other character.

Yeah, same for me. That's why I need some flashbacks of the 10 years that passed, cuz I don't understand Tae Oh still being attached to her. He'd be too stupid to end up with her when she made her choice 10 years ago. She decided she had more chances of having a great future by being with In Ho than with Tae Oh, so it'd be weird if Tae Oh just accepts her back in the end if he becomes the winner.

I also think they'll be in some sort of relationship eventually (though not necessarily with a happy ending), because otherwise what is the purpose of Hee Jo's character in this type of story? It can't be just some random thing that the Kang family has an unmarried young daughter, when there're already three sons to fill the story. So far she's the only character not involved in the main plot (ie conquer Kangoh), so she could be the unpredictable element in Tae Oh's plan. He always determines the roles for each character in the game and maybe he did it with her too, but, if he falls in love with her, that will change the game.

I think there's a possibility of Tae Oh and Hee Joo being together during the story, cuz it might be part of Tae Oh's scheme (he's showed he's patient enough to wait for the right time to do what he plans). Even the wife of In Joo saw the potential of their being together. But, for them to ended up together, the drama has to give us more hints, cuz Hee Joo is a secondary character... Maybe Tae Oh will start showing he actually likes her later on and this might be what will eventually ruin his perfect planning.

Yes, they're dating, but I don't know how (or if) Inho believes Hyewon likes him, cuz so far she hasn't shown that at all.

The story seems interesting so far, but the editing is very weird. There're abrupt cuts and the show goes back to past time/present time sometimes, but it's not well done, so it can be confusing what timeline they are. And the business side is confusing because the show spent little time introducing the characters, so it's hard to catch up if you don't remember all their names.
