Exactly!! If they'd treated the show as a woman coming into her own and succeeding as a single, strong woman then…
Her dream sequence about Dr Roy and then the Medical Volunteer trip were all showing the bond between Roy and Cha. The (ex) husband continually got between their moments and guilt-tripped her into staying away from Roy.
I would have loved to see the 3 years later epilogue last 1 - 2 whole episodes instead of the nonsense pseudo In-Ho redemption arc we got for 4 episodes where everybody around them acts out of character and apologizes to each other for no reason. Kind of disappointing after such a strong start.
Still hoping this show will end well, but it seems like we lost the plot maybe 2-3 episodes ago.
We knew the mother was sick but that could have been a by-pass plotline like the mother in law's cancer scare/surgery. I Rang going to the mistress, apologizing, and volunteering to drop out of art school (after dr Cha busted her ass getting money for her to study after In Ho refused to help and trashed her supplies) is utterly ridiculous.
Dr Cha's mother leaving a note for Sung Hee basically telling her "you seemed like a good woman but since you ruined my daughter's marriage, I hope you can stop being a harlot and find happiness on your own" was okay I guess but not necessary.
I loved the little bits of Dr Kim and Dr Cha flirting and thought it was cute but the "come to me" line a few episodes ago was cringy and literally makes no sense because their relationship hasn't evolved since the medical volunteer trip. I could understand if they got closer while she was staying at his house due to the dorm fire but since we were never shown that - or their running group again - why the hell does he like her?
(Does he just want a mom figure? Especially after what happened in this episode when meeting his biological family?)
I like Dr Cha's friend but she is being ridiculous with liking Dr Kim, realizing Dr Kim has a thing for Dr Cha, listening to I Rang and Dr Cha tell her the marriage is screwed and In Ho had a kid out of wedlock, and then still suggesting she not divorce In Ho to keep him away from happiness with the mistress - who even admitted at the hotel that if they got married it would get old despite clinging onto him for dear life - is dumb.
Lol it really is. I’m all caught up and damn ….I’m trying to keep up with all of it. Soo bin story is getting…
Sorry, I was a little bit late as well this time.
It doesn't seem like they were even together, although it seems like Soo Bin had a crush on that genuinely good guy. I mean wow, I actually really feel bad that Ji Hoon died. Especially since his character wanted to reform his ways but never got the chance thanks to Woo Jae's move toward "the greater good".
I'm kind of glad that Soo Bin ended up having a happy ending and getting the mother figure she wanted in life. Are you satisfied with the way the series ended?

Me too! I wasn't sure what to think after your last message so that's why I didn't reply before.
After this last episode however, what do you think about Soo Bin running to Ji Hoon's house after his death because privately they agreed to raise the baby together?
When Hye Joo and Joong Do visited his gravesite Ji Hoon's childhood card said when he grew up he "wanted to be a good dad" and during the flashback with JD, Ji Hoon refused to say where Soo Bin was.
Then, we don't know what Soo Bin actually said when she met Hye Joo for the first time because a car drowned her out, and she wanted to break up with JD after an apparent sexual assault.
2. Is that really JD's tattoo? As i expected something suspicious bout it. then it surprised me when she stated…
Soo Bin stole the daughter Yoon Seo's card. Remember her class went to visit the national assembly and she drew a heart on it and hung it on her bulletin board? Soo Bin cleaned the house one day and when Yeo Jin caught her she said she already did Yoon Seo's room - meaning that's when she stole the Joong Do business card with a heart on it.

I 100% agree with everything you said. It didn't make sense that Ji Hoon found drugs, then sat at a bar for an hour or so, then magically dies without his phone - and his father ends up having it. It doesn't make sense that NJD or Hye Joo have a conversation about envelopes in his study, and Hye Joo grabs an envelope and the phone just happens to have the text messages between Soo Bin and Ji Hoon up? Woo Jae and NJD are definitely playing the long game here - doing anything to attain the Blue House.
(But didn't the daughter hate Ji Hoon too? Just like Hye Joo, she pretends to miss him in public as well.)

Yeah, exactly! The fact that Assemblyman Nam doesn't seem interested in the details but Woo Jae and him already know other things means he had a hand in his death. Can Hye Joo even handle the truth right now? It seems like Yeo Jin is currently doubling as her babysitter along with being a household spy.

I think so. Woo Jae said the baby might not be Ji Hoon's and now it makes sense. I still wanna know why Ji Hoon's phone wasn't on his body in the river. How did Assemblyman Nam get it if he claims Ji Hoon texted Soo Bin then committed suicide?
