Thank you for this! It highlighted what I like/love about YAMH and also what got me cringing at times. The "rawness" of their own voices expressing the characters emotions, be it awkward, giddy, serious made a difference to me.
I was a bit skeptical how this pairing would fare, chemistry wise. BJT has a young looking face, and add that to their 5-year difference. But his Xing Kelei look made a difference. Convinced me how both of them were falling for each other.
No doubt about their acting skills, though.
I'm still in denial it's ending next week already.
