It was only funny coz the FL was stupid. She kept begging the ML to trust her while he kept abusing her. She has trauma after the rape for just 1 scene, and then is ecstatic that she is pregnant even though the doctor advices against it. Who cares if she could die and leave the child as an orphan.
Near the end we see the ML cry for some seconds to make us think he regrets it all. He kills himself, the FL survives with her son 😂
Wang is so good but I'm bored of these weak FLs who get humiliated again and again so that the ML can save her. Can't the writers think of any other excuse than useless parent or ill child coz of the which the FL is treated like a doormat-_-
They do mention in the end that it's the end of 1st season but it's now clear things didn't work out :( I'll just imagine that she chooses both men and they live happily ever after :D
Another FL with no self-respect. In the very beginning, they show a flashback of how the ML ran away to another girl while he was getting married to the FL, yet the stupid FL stayed married to him. I dropped it as soon as this scene came up. Such low-IQ dramas are not worthy of my time.

Exactly. Smoking isn't good for health, no matter man or woman. Only lazy writers think that if they have to show a strong independent woman then she has to smoke, or go around slapping or kicking people.

the ML keeps forcing himself on the FL knowing well what she had gone thru. she even has an abortion but she is more worried if he still loves her or not. she is so easy that it's funny to see the ML abuse her every now and then. the ending was funny instead of sad.
I started laughing from the moment the FL chose to walk in while her husband was kissing the other girl. Then she tries to act all concerned knowing well enough that she'll be mocked. It was so funny how she is made to pay for the party, and still goes running after the man begging him to take her to the hospital. She doesn't respect herself but wants others to respect her 😂
The lead actors are good but why do the writers end up making the FL stupid? It was going fine until she decides to save the ML from the goons. She closes her eyes while swinging the rod. Maybe kids find it cute lol

As usual, ML sheds a couple of tears, loses blood, gets stabbed and has a HE. Even Shen wasn't able to salvage this one. I should have skipped to the ending and saved myself.
