I haven't started the drama, the comments r scaring me and now I read your post about the novel's ending. It sounds so good. Why not maintain it in the drama as well?!
ZLH is doing his best. But the director is more interesed in making the visuals pretty. In the 3rd epi power is back but the background actors keep going left to right with candles in their hands. Can't take this drama seriously any more.

Most of the short ones basically. When I was new to them, they felt fresh. But now I read the plot and know which ones to avoid. They can easily give us a headache unless we're used to crap 😂
Girls are made to prove themselves worthy for the man as if he is shopping for some gadget to bring home. They will obviously fight with each other to gain his favor but we are expected to see them as villains. He won't care what happens to them until he would find the FL useful or some other lame excuse.
Someone rightly mentioned in the comments that the actress' expressions are as if she is in some high quality Sherlock Holmes drama which doesn't suit this low quality drama. The first 2 ep failed to impress me so I dropped it.
