But as usual the drama has imbalance regarding violence. Most of it was about FL or some other woman enduring repeated physical abuse, while the villain remains largely untouched.
In the end it was unsatisfying how he is dealt with. Maybe chinese fans like watching women fight other women or women getting abused even if a man is the biggest villain.

Dai is such a good actor. I loved him in the comic scenes or when he plays drunk or his outburst when someone badmouths the FL. It was fun watching Liu. And the actress who played the young female painter shone in her cameo.
I was laughing from the minute the drama started. Such FLs are a joke and deserve what they get. Wonder why the tag section didn't mention rape. Or maybe marital rape is legal? No sympathy for such FLs who care about everyone else but themelves. I skipped to the very end and was not disappointed. The ML is forgiven no matter what he does but if women do anything bad then they are pure evil and deserve to die 😂
The smoking scenes in these dramas are so badly executed that it feels like some brand is forcing them to show the leads smoking, but the poor director has no idea how to do it properly. 😂
It was good until the 5th epi when the FL and the other girl started to 'fight'. It looked like 2 kids stomping their feet coz their fav toy was taken away 😂
Dropped after 5 minutes. The FL found out that her husband is cheating, she still goes home and willingly wants to serve his family member who treats her like a servant.
