Are they teasing a new series for the other gl pairing, or is it like Sam and Mon in Blank or Pam and Dokrak in Dream, where they're established couples just cameoing in the series?
If that's the case, it really won't work like Sam and Mon in Blank, since GAP the series was already out, and the characters were well-known and interwoven into the story. But here, it's more like Dream, where we didn't know their story beforehand, so there wasn't much to connect with. Now, we're only just getting their story with Us: The Series.
The series had a solid ending despite its pacing issues throughout. The last two episodes flowed well, and the acting—especially from Film and Namtan—was fantastic. While the story was engaging and layered, I appreciated how each character’s decisions felt authentic, which is impressive considering it’s based on a Chao Planoy novel.
The redemption arcs were decent, except for May’s dad, which felt like wasted screentime, and the Omm and Ko thing wasn’t needed. The love triangle lacked depth, and I wish gl series would take notes from kdramas by making side couples compelling enough to hold interest. A lot more screentime could have been used for Pang and Jang.
My main pet peeve was how Omm controlled Ai and May’s relationship—the start, the end, and the reconciliation. While it works storywise , it still left me frustrated. Overall, the writing was fine, the story engaging, and the acting stellar. I’d rate it 8/10—it’s a strong GL series with undeniable appeal, though it doesn’t rank as my favorite couple or series.
The series truly felt like a wattpad story I was cracking up in the finale when they were in a war zone because he "had to" punish himself. This series was such a fun ride—truly entertaining week after week. It reminds me a little of Perfect Marriage Revenge; despite not having critically acclaimed writing and being full of clichés, it didn’t matter because it was just so engaging. One of the best of 2024, it wrapped up nicely.
So far, the series has been doing great up to episode 10. The only things that could make me lower my rating are unnecessary separations, last-minute reunions, memory loss tropes, or a forced, last-minute redemption arc for an unforgivable character. They could end the conflict in episode 11 n make 12 all fluff cuz it already fine it's job.
I love the actresses , and I’m amazed every week, but these plotlines really get under my skin. So what now, are they finally getting back together in part 3 or part 4 of the finale? Honestly, May shouldn’t take her back. The emotional damage these sisters have put her through is insane.
Ai knows it’s the wrong choice, everyone knows it’s the wrong choice! But no, these thai gls always make it so someone else has to "free” them to make a decision. Seriously? Sam and Mon, Earn and Fahdala—it’s the same thing every time. Can’t we just have a situation where they get together despite everything, and everyone else just has to deal with it for once?
And yes, I understand everyone’s perspective and the nuances. But at this point, the relationship has gone too far for Ooom’s ultimatum to even matter. Why should Ai have to leave May again just because her sister still has feelings, when she’s the one who set them up in the first place? May event shared her pain about feeling like a toy passed between sisters.
Ooom needs time to move on, sure. But Ai breaking her heart *and* May’s for Ooom’s sake? That’s just absurd. Can someone please just make a firm decision and stick to it?

I felt the same way about brewing love and was just as confused about the comments as well. It seemed like people were so focused on ticking all the boxes for the ML that they didn’t notice the story and romance were lacking—both as a romance and a healing drama. This kind of bias is making it harder to find good dramas based on comments or reviews these days.
Honestly, with MDL, I gotta wonder if we’re all even watching the same drama. This 8-episode gem was so good—great story, and I absolutely loved the leads together. The story is good, but these are the plotlines I hate in drama. May had no reason to feel guilty, nor did Ai. How can Batman and Kosell be the actual culprits, yet they’re the ones always feeling the pain? And what’s wrong with everyone around Oom? I get that the girl just woke up from a coma, but let’s not forget she was married to someone else who died. They owe it to her and to Paul to reveal the truth.
As someone who watched the entire series, I found the pacing too slow, the plot uninteresting, and the conflicts poorly executed. It's not rewatchable for me, but if you're looking for a soft, easy watch without much going on, it might be worth a try. This type of drama would be perfect for a quick binge, but watching it weekly only highlighted its flaws.
I'm got whiplash from the grandmother this episode a complete 180. Like the support she gives Ai but somehow it seems so out of place for her character.
