Bro i love Jang Geun Suk but this drama was awful I stg. Even if you're a JGS fan, I really wouldn't recommend watching this lmao - I tried to watch this drama but by around ep 10 I was so done with it and had to skip to the end. The only redeeming thing was that the second male lead was such a qt LMAOOO
this drama... i only started watching it because i love the actor who played the ML.. but bro this series made me go through a rollercoaster of emotions!! the cinematography is just as good as everyone is saying, as it made the story 1000x more emotional and more amazing, giving more meaning to what we were seeing. the age gap was way too far for me, but the actors did such a wonderful job and i actually loved the ending, where you are left wondering... did they get back together? overall, i would say give it a watch - the age gap is wayyy too much... but the story deals with all these different emotions, standards and societal issues we have today... BRO IF I START THINKING ABOUT THIS DRAMA AGAIN IMMA CRY AHAH,
i honestly dont know what kept me watching... but i'm kinda happy i finished the drama i guess? the show had so much potential, but what happened?! there was no real development (except for main gal) and it seemed like nothing changed? but, i will admit, i did quite enjoy the ending because it seemed more realistic to me where they wouldn't really end up together, but also left me just a bit sad tbh... like she's stuck in this toxic cycle because the ML never actually changed and she's just going along with it too o.o. but, this kind of FL was actually so refreshing, because most of the time she was just so honest and didn't do that generic jdrama thing like 'oH iM tOo ShY i DoNt WaNnA sAY The tRUtH oR Say iTs A miSuNdErStANdInG' overall, i think it could of been so much better, but i'm glad that i watched it ig lol
this drama... omg... she literally got either assaulted/almost assaulted multiple times and was like 'oMg i hOpE mY bF isNt AngRy' and then to the guy who forced himself on her, she literally just ignored 10 mins later like bro... WHAT? overall there was literally nothing happening... the only thing i can say is maybe she matured a little and became less shy at the end (and that's at a push 0.0) but it was the same thing over and over - ML gets jealous, she gets all sad and apologizes (AND HALF THE TIME DOESN'T EVEN FUCKING SAY THAT IT'S A MISUNDERSTANDING CUZ SHE'S JUST TOO 'SHY') and then they hug and kiss/sleep together. over. and over. AND OVER. honestly i only continued watching cuz the ML was hot x
tbh in the beginning i was soooo mf confused and was gonna drop it, but as i continued watching, i liked this drama more and more... the way 2 people who were in a time of confusion, misery, not being 'enough' for the one they love, found eachother and brightened eachother's lives... honestly i thought it was so beautiful!! the character progression of both kaori and haruto made it 10x better, cuz at first i despised him and thought 'this hOe doesnt deserve AnYoNe' but towards the end.. i was generally pleased they found happiness together. obviously it was still too overtop and just... a bit confusing and unrealistic, but that didn't stop me from enjoying every moment of it.
ok personally i thought this was sooo shit lmao, like bruh you had me into this up till around ep 4... but then i was so annoyed how they just suddenly liked each other... where was the chemistry and bonding? 0.0
I didn't really understand the romance in this and how they both suddenly liked each other... maybe I'm just dumb lol. But I definitely preferred Sweet Revenge 2 because I felt like the story was more interesting with more depth to each character (this may of been because the 2nd series had a lot more episodes to explore each character). However, I have to admit I think the acting in this season was better than in season 2.
P.S - is it just me or does Solomon look a lil like Min Ho from SHINee?
