What are you talking about? They gave them so little time in prison, what the heck?! And Joo a Dante is out in…
You can't have them all do life before season 3 right? They may not have properly paid for what they did yet, but after two seasons of the Hera Club getting away with everything it was extremely satisfying to see them being punished and losing their mind over it. That court scene is one of those tv moments that I will remember forever. You could literally see the cast oozing with chemistry and talent. Even script wise, to think that the screenwriter came up with such a scene when she could have just gone the easy makjang way, impressive really.
I thought last week's episodes were satisfying but it was nothing compared to this finale! The whole court scene was one of the best scenes from a drama in a very long time for me. I re-watched it so many times. I didn't think I would be looking forward season 3 but actually I am. June seems so far away T_T
Where can I find a Hyun Seung to marry me please? I won't lie I slightly hoped there wouldn't be a happy ending, mostly because I did think that Hyun Seung deserved better and to be loved as much as he loved. Nonetheless it was still a great drama that made my heart flutter from beginning until the end and that I would recommend for anybody looking for a nice and warm moment in this cold world. Props to Rowoon who definitely carried the whole drama throughout the 16 episodes. I can't wait to see what project he picks up next!
Chae Hyun Seung is the best thing about this drama. The fact that he is true to himself since the beginning is so refreshing. He speaks his mind and doesn't shy away from the consequences of his actions. He isn't sugarcoating anything and does what he believes is the best thing to do in any given situation. I'm particularly amazed by how mature he is, especially after episode 8. It takes a lot of strength to accept you are no different from others and to stop yourself from falling down the rabbit hole. I can't tell which way the drama will go especially after episode 8 revelations but whatever happens I hope Chae Hyun Seung will stay true to himself until the end.
I have been waiting for this movie and frankly I was not disappointed! The story was great, the CGI impressive and the cast delivered a great performance. I loved how representative it was as well, including so many languages and nations. It was a great movie and I am sad I won't get to see it at the movie theatre.
Also props to Song Joong Gi who delivered a great performance and is making me looking forward his new drama!
This drama is such a nice surprise! i wasn't sure about the premise nor the first episode but it turned out really interesting. While we do find the regular drama elements, the drama really takes a refreshing turn on your office/romantic story aka it's all from the ML point of view. Rowoon's character is really interesting as we see his struggle to protect the woman he loves without make it sound like he is only doing so in order to win her over. Regardless of what he wants you can see that his priority is the well-being of his sunbae. Rowoon really shines in this character who is sometimes a young man in love and sometimes a coworker just looking to find his place at work and in society. This duality really shows and despite being the least experienced among the cast he is the one carrying the drama so far.
Descendants of the Sun really showed me that second couples could exist and be even more relevant than the main couple. I started Dots for Song Joong Gi but I ended up staying for Jin Goo and Kim Ji Won. These two had so much chemistry and their love story was much more interesting than the main couple. High Society is also a good example of a second couple taking over the main couple (which to this day is one of the worst couples I have ever watched) I really wish more kdramas embraced second/third couples instead of bringing in love triangle or square. Another drama currently doing this is Run On with both couples being as interesting as the other and staying away from competing for a love interest.
Such a great article! I love it! Thank you for sharing with us!
