Thoroughly enjoyed drama, UNTIL the last 2 episodes. Suddenly it turned into a love story between Saeroyi and Yiseo.. seriously? There was zero chemistry between them, and Yiseo had been forcing her love on him for years. Imagine if a male character did this.. People would call him a creep. Additionally, the fact that Jang Dae Hae got ill at the end was also proof of bad writing imo. I am quite disappointed that the drama turned out this way in the end.
Did not expect much from this drama, almost did not watch it but I decided to see what all the hype was all about.
I was hooked after seeing the first episode and now I am sad that I finished watching everything. The characters, story, cinematography and ost are so good. This is a classic kdrama imo (and I have seen more than 100 dramas).
Enjoyed the drama very much and would have given it a 7.5/10 if not for the last episode.. The revelation of who was behind it was just too ridiculous and had no credibility. Was kind of annoyed the whole time during the last episode because of that. The last two scenes were beautiful though. Due to the last episode, I will give it a 6/10.
Rewatched it for the second (or third?) time and it is still such a joy to watch. A lot of things are cliche if you have watched a lot of kdramas already, but the characters are so nice and this drama has a good balance of funny and touching moments. I watched it the first time when it was airing in 2014 and I can still say that this drama belongs to my favorite dramas of all time. 10/10
Watched it for the second time, man this drama does things to you... There are not a lot of dramas that will have you as emotionally invested as this drama. Still a 10/10 for me.
at what point does the teacher understand that maybe he should like...not date his students
Omg I hated that so much to be honest. He was already an adult when she was still a little kid, how in the hell he thought it was appropriate is beyond me. What a perv.
Man, everyone is just crazy in this drama. 7/10, just because the amount of craziness amused me. Some scenes were…
So, about the ending: all of that trouble for 1.6 billion yen? She could have just divorced Kouhei after finding out his infidelity, then marry someone else and conduct the plan to get that money, TOGETHER. Of course there wouldn't be a story if it went like that. But it is still illogical.
Man, everyone is just crazy in this drama. 7/10, just because the amount of craziness amused me. Some scenes were very questionable though (Kouhei taunting Kazuki with saying "baka" after escaping a fight...) seriously, is that what grown men in a situation like that would do? The ending did not make any sense to me either, but I will talk about that in another post in which I can hide the spoiler.
Dropped it at 38/32. I know, so close before the finish line. However, from the very beginning I could not keep my attention while watching it, which is not a good sign. It was cute at times, but that's it. Reading about the weak ending finally made me decide to drop it.
Enjoyable drama, I liked the fantasy aspect but it focused more on the relationships of the characters. I am a bit disappointed that there was still a plot hole at the end (relating to Seo Woo Jin's mother) though. But the acting of the actors was good and there was character development. I liked the ending as well, it was very cute. 7.5/10.
Idk, in my opinion it is a bit weird to tell your married senior that you missed him and liked him in the past. And give an extra piece of meat in an affectionate way. Maybe I misunderstood her but it kind of seemed like flirting to me.
Why would you expect it to end in a bang when the drama was calm all along? The drama set it's atmosphere in the…
I meant to say that I expected Hye Ran to get the justice she deserved. She was the main character and the writers made it too tragic by making KTW the killer. Suddenly the focus was more on him (imo) and the strong GHR we saw in ep 1-14 was gone. She was a character who never lost (she said herself), and suddenly she lost everything. Tragic, which is how life works sometimes, but I would have personally wanted to see a better ending. The last 10-20 minutes felt out of place to me.
Additionally, the fact that Jang Dae Hae got ill at the end was also proof of bad writing imo. I am quite disappointed that the drama turned out this way in the end.
