I have rewatched this show 8 times
I absolutely love con artist storylines, and this one is my all-time favorite.
The backstory of how the crew gets together is absolutely brilliant, and I love Ma Dongseok in this lovable oaf character who slowly finds his footing between all the other badass characters who are also surprisingly multidimensional and well-written.
The cons themselves are also well developed and rarely seem forced or like they are asking you to suspend your belief too much, which is usually the downfall of this type of show. The villains are hateable but also pretty realistic - just some greedy businessmen evading taxes - which makes the storyline all the more believable.
Tie in the fact that the main characters are people who, traditionally, you shouldn't trust, and you get a perfect mix of teamwork and friendship and mistrust and betrayal.
