So far I fear this rendition of Happiness fails to capture the charm that the korean version has. The female lead is more bland in this version, the strong female character vibes does not land, the two leads feel too much like a couple (if that makes sense) rather than old friends that are a really strong team and support each other. And they made them actually investigate, giving them intel and everything ? It just falls flat in my opinion, maybe I was expecting too much because I really love the korean version and the webtoon.

Isn't it because he broke up with her because he was forced by his mom and he wanted to put a barrier in between then? I'm so confused... I think I'm gonna have to rewatch it sometimes lol

I'm confused I thought he tricked Rara with Gayoung so she would think that he was going abroad when she was also at the airport. And that after when he had to go for real, he discovered his leukemia and then went back to Rara without telling her that he was sick. I could be wrong about the timing though, but that's how I understood it though... Idk
