I've watched 10 episodes of The Untamed, but I still don't like it : (
Graphics is normally bad in Chinese dramas. Like really bad so I wasn't bothered about it. Maybe you should start watching from when the flash back ends. It might make you ask questions and would want to go back and rewatch the ones you missed.
Going through the comment section, I see people say the first episode is confusing. Of course it has to be confusing. It's a new drama. It doesn't make sense to understand the whole plot from episode 1. Don't expect chemistry from word of honor here. This is a slow burn drama. For me I liked it from episode 1 when wei ying called Lan zhan I was like who is this Lan zhan guy what happened to them in the past.

Maybe it isn't for you. I liked it from episode 1. When wei ying called Lan zhan and I was really intrigued about the happenings. It is a slow burn drama.
I Agree with you, even during the fight scenes in the end, ZZS was barely on screen while WKX was full blown on…
Exactly. But some people don't see anything with it. I liked him at the beginning. Kicking assess and killing bad guys. Now, he is watered down and WKX gets all the praise.... Makes me angry....
What's the purpose of bringing in Beiyuan and Wuxi when they didn't really help anything (Wuxi cured Ah Xu's in…
They just showed them because people want to see. They had importance in the book. And there was plenty interactions between them and the major 5 characters. They even lived with WKX and ZZS when ZZS was still healing. Drank tea and tease each other.

Exactly. I really prefer axu fighting scene. He looked so cool especially the part with the hat and veil and where he was fighting 3 ghosts from the ghost valley. Also when he was fighting those beggars.....
not quite understand how you derived that "ZZH character was treated unfairly"? It kicked off with Window of Heaven…
Still about how heroic WKX is. He transferred his energy to save ZZS because of love. It still glorified WKX. Compare to the novel where ZZS withstand the pain and healing by himself with the help of the great shaman.
Does anyone get pissed when people criticise the untamed. Like there are flaws but insulting the cast members saying they don't know how to act. It really gets to me. I am like they really tried and their expressions and all was really good. Sure some the CGI was bad but the story was really good. I really liked it the first time I started watching even without reading the novel. I only read the novel after watching then watched again after reading the novel.
People that talked about how draggy it was in the mid 20s episodes didn't go back and watch after it was done. They really missed lots of the story. I had to go to back and rewatch those part properly.
Why can't the drama have WKX saving the weakened ZZS who's lost 50% of his inner strength due to the 7 Nails torment?…
The saving was just a bit dramatic really like the BG dramas. They could have just leave the scorpion king and zhao jing relationship the way it was in the novel.
I remember saying the drama turned into a revenge story for WKX. At least in the novel, Priest elaborated on ZZS and qiye's friendship and even his recovery from the nails after the great shaman helped to heal him. The novel had ZZS's adventures on tracking down the scorpion assassins on his own before later finding out something was wrong with Gu xiang and WKX. I hate that they made ZZS so fragile that WKX had to go and save him. It's a BG drama move. ZZS isn't weak or a damsel in distress waiting for a man to save him. The relationship between scorpion King and zhao jing was really creepy. I didn't like it because in the novel it was just a contract work relationship between them. Zhao jing went to scorpion King for a job which is to kill ZCL. Why make them look like a CP. The main lead actors' acting are the only good thing about the drama. Even the plot was confusing.
This is one of Priest's earliest novels, if not the earliest, and it's very short and as this is an adaptation…
I read the novel and I understood priest's message. Priest is amazing, that's a fact. I have read silent reading, goumen and currently reading sha po lang
