Wow, I had no idea this is a Studio Dragon production too. Now I'm even more thrilled about it!

I am not particularly a fan of Park Bo Young, but the screenwriter previously wrote "Youth of May," which I enjoyed watching and highly recommend.

Additionally, this is a tvN + Studio Dragon production, that too, in a weekend slot, so it will most likely have a good soundtrack and high production values, which always appeals to me. Therefore, I am somewhat looking forward to it.

However, the lack of promotion so far does not inspire confidence.

just hoping for a good story since the synopsis looks interesting.

KHN is a master of facial expressions. It's more or less the same in every series of this type, and surprisingly,…
I agree with you, but I think it's more of a script related thing as well. Go Min Si should get more screen time and presence in the story imo, which I believe she will, the upcoming episodes that will include more of her perspectives as well. However, KHN has undoubtedly overshadowed her so far.

All I want to say is that I really enjoyed the first two episodes, mainly because of the male lead. I absolutely love watching these over the top type of male leads in dramas—it's so fun and entertaining, and KNH is playing the role perfectly. I assume and hope the female lead gets more screen time and presence in the story and we see more of her perspective because the first two episodes were dominated by the male lead and KNH.

I love Go Min Sai by the way, but the female lead seems boring so far. Still, I'm sure she'll step up in the next episodes coz they will explore her past and all. The interactions between the male and female leads are the best thing so far—sharp, cute and funny.

As for Myung Suk, I found her a bit annoying at times, but she's a cute and heartwarming character. I'm already enjoying the team dynamics by the end of episode two.

go min si and hong hwa yeon are so pretty , they have my heart 😘

The pictures look overly edited and a bit AI-like which i do not appreciate, but I’m excited for this drama. The plot seems fun, the cast is lovely, and as a fan of the amnesia trope, I think it’ll be an enjoyable romcom.

The director is fantastic, though I’m not sure about the screenwriter since I haven’t seen their previous work, which has received mixed reviews.

I’m hoping for an entertaining final product that I’ll love!

this is just my personal opinion

When I said Jun Ji Hyun "overshadowed" him in My Love from the Star, I meant in terms of acting, screen presence, and charm. I believe she was the main highlight of that drama for me and made a bigger impact/impression on me. Her role, which could have been very annoying due to the way it was written, became likable and iconic because of her performance specially her micro expressions. Her chemistry with Kim Soo Hyun was also outstanding. I am also a Kim Soo Hyun fan, and he did well in this show specially in the 2nd half, but I meant to say that without Jun Ji Hyun, "My Love from the Star" would not have been as successful and iconic as it became. Therefore, she deserves credit as well, not just Kim Soo Hyun.

the rest what you said i agree with that

i hop there are no misunderstandings

It was one of the most-viewed streaming shows on iQIYI, where it was streamed more than 14.5 billion times from December 2013 to February 2014

In March 2014, The Washington Post reported My Love from the Star's popularity had led to it being discussed at China's National People's Congress, particularly in a committee of the political advisory body Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), where it reportedly topped the agenda among delegates from the culture and entertainment industry.

"My Love From the Stars," a South Korean melodrama, is so popular in China that high Chinese officials are publicly debating why China can’t make a show that good (bonus: link to 1st ep in comments

I could be mistaken, but I believe "My Love from the Star" is KSH's biggest hit of all time just because of its cultural impact and the way it was able to penetrate the Chinese market like none other. His other dramas are hits globally and in korea, but none of them are as huge in China as mlfts

jun ji hyun kinda overshadowed soo hyun in this tbh even tho he was really good

he has a questionable track record out of Romance dramas mostly , so this is a hit or miss like you stated.
but Itaewon class was still a huge success , both globally and domestically. so i dont know why you said its hit or miss

Webtoon adaptations simply have a higher chance of success, regardless of whether they adhere to the original webtoon story or not.

wasn't producers a hit?
Yeah, I love "One Ordinary Day" too, but viewership wise it was average. "Producers" was a decent drama and had high viewership. so, i don't think there's ever been a flop drama by KSH. The only flop he has is the movie "Real" which was decent too; it wasn't as bad as people might say imo. btw KSH nailed it in this movie as well, its worth checking out just for his performance. I've seen his entire filmography, lol. 😅

his big 3 - mlfts, iotnbo, and qot are my favs tho😁😊

super hyped for knock off 😍❤️🔥
