i have some genuine questions , hope someone can explain -
i get it , that fl was scared to tell her mom about canceling the wedding and quitting her job but when she eventually told her , she lied that she was the one who cheated , and was unemployed ,
it was like , she said it in such an unserious and nonchalant way that i couldn't understand - was it for comedic effect or was she trying to play it cool coz she was scared ?
and why is she even saying she cheated . it is just going to backfire , why didn't she say she got cheated and was fired / unwanted in the job ? is it a pride/self respect thing ? does she think it will create a bad image (among her mom and her friends) coz she was always this successful competent lady ?
i mean saying she cheated is even worse than saying i was cheated on , creating an even more negative impression , so why did she say that??
did she get fired ? or she quit bcoz of depression and or burnout ? or is the burnout just an excuse to hide that she was fired ? i genuinely couldn't understand ?
that flashback scene should be elaborated more imo
I think it can be because of different genre. Where they wanted the even crying scene to be bit funny. Or if can…
i don't think her crying scenes was meant to be funny , even in a lighthearted drama i think some scenes specially in kdramas are meant to hit you right in the feels and make you feel emotional .
i agree with you , her tunnel scene was really well acted , that's why i think she couldn't pull it if in this drama till now
sometimes even forced crying can make you emotional if you are attached to the characters enough , but in this case this is just ep2 and i am not too attached to her character yet

jung so min is really good in the the comedic scenes and where she has to act awkward , her micro expressions and delivery is perfect
but her emotional scenes are not hitting me tbh , like , the scene were she was confronting her mother and when she was crying in front of the ml , idkw but her delivery wasn't good , and like many viewers got emotional there but it just wasn't hitting me , it looked like she was acting , didn't look natural and took me out of the scenes. even the execution of the scenes wasn't perfect . some actresses cry so real , i get teary eyed but it wasn't the case here .
I'm not hating and this is just what i felt honestly

for me she is a good actress , but not in the top/best ones
and i didn't say her acting is bad , i mentioned particular scenes where it looked forced / fake ,
